Seen action in multiple theaters?
Likely some of it did.

It's a September 1939 receiver, low 5-digit serial number that has been restored to gas-trap configuration, using all very early parts.

I don’t know about their long guns, but have seen a lot of people complaining of their 320 handguns AD’ing. A LOT. Others are complaining about their optics recently taking a dive. I can’t say the same about my sig cheap optics, but cannot speak to the trustworthiness of their pistols.

Try to find one to shoot before taking the plunge on your 716. Does the “I” indicate DI vs piston? If you’re looking for accuracy, the piston may prove detrimental.
I have a Sig P320 X5 Legion, and two of the P320 Carry models. I shoot the Legion in Carry Optics. They’ve all worked quite well for me with no ADs.

I used to have 229 SC and a 229 Elite. They were great guns, but I like the P320s better.

Back on track with all previous gun talk.

@cruiserdan and anyone else interested. I am still looking for direction on this and other things. The internet is one thing when it comes to value, but this group has helped me on more than that ever could.
Thanks for any help.

SP1s on GunBroker range from around $1,700 to over $4,000. That one being minty fresh should be at least in the middle. I suggest you look at GB and go through SP1s and look for similar mid 1970s offered. Then follow those auctions to see if they actuality sell and what they go for.

Here's one 1977. Colt SP1 (R6000) pre-ban 1977 mfg - Semi Auto Rifles at GunBroker.com : 1010797677 - https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1010797677

Of course it's not worth that if it doesn't sell.
Thanks for the suggestion and information. I will watch that one. Ends on 11/13.
I think this one is from 1971 (maybe)?

Also finding information on this::

I don't know a thing about Combat Tupperware but you can do the same thing on GB with that one. Again another minty fresh piece. Condition is not a problem.

As an aside, did you sell the M1A?

Glock valuation is solid, but depends on who you ask. I haven’t had any problems with my gen4 experience. Others won’t touch them at all - which shocked me.

You won’t have any problem selling it. Especially on GB. It always puts the perfect buyer and seller together. Unfortunately they take a sizable taste of the proceeds.

M1A is another one I need to figure out.
Just starting on this again, as they are all in one place now.
Any and all thoughts are welcome.

Thanks for that.
Posting here for any local interest. Going on line and doing all that may be more than my brain wants to handle. But it may come to that.

I Know I'm on the wrong coast for this thread, but I may be unloading a couple of things. I'm not sure I want to start up a gunbroker account as this will be a 2-3 sales then done situation.
I have a post-war M1 Garand, in really good shooting shape (meaning it's stable and sends lead accurately down range, but is not a closet queen), and I have some 80% stuff and 1 complete mostly Aero-precision ar-15 that I may sell complete or break down for parts.
Any advice is appreciated. PM's welcome since I'm not an ONSC member.

Last I checked, beyond p2p sales you're going to have to ship to an FFL. This will increase the cost of the sale. A lot of FFL's won't accept private party transfers, so take that into consideration before shipping too as it will also increase the cost of private sale across CONUS. Beyond that, post what you're looking to sell and a price...but this may beyond the purview of this thread...I don't know.

I got a GB seller account and have a local FFL who will ship. All that said, its all a pain in the butt - enough so that, I would prefer to sell local. That said, trying not to sell :)

You would sell on GB, then ship FFL (local) to FFL (customer requested). I believe Fedex is the only one who will touch guns now, as well, so that is fun and more $$.

Shopping for a safe finally and looking for recommendations. Not looking for a behemoth safe that will hold 20 long guns but mainly something to keep them secure from children/nannies, etc. Internal storage for handguns, ammo, etc are all pluses.

Was looking at the SecureIt Agile Model 52. Any experience with these? Does anyone have any others that would be good to look at?

Whatever you purchase, get a safe that is at least twice as big as you plan on needing. I scoffed at this advice a few years ago but it is amazing what needs “protected” from fire and theft once you live with the safe for awhile. I have maintained a strong dislike for anything with an electronic or biometric keypad. Liberty Safe only reinforced my belief after violating a consumers privacy with the fine print.

I had a couple Sentry key lockers for a few years and then sold them to fund a fireproof one. Should have kept them all.
