Great that Sig is swapping you out on that Tango. Hopefully you like the updates. :)

Have heard so many great things about Leupold and NIghtforce - American made like Trijicon, too.

My PWS 16" was made for a suppressor with the piston. I spent some time on the phone with them discussing the set up, the rounds I would use, etc. Looking forward to shooting it!

Like you, I tried to keep my "lots" of ammo down to as few as possible so I know the performance, etc. That said, it seems every time I got to the range I am using up some brand I am trying out, etc :)

Edit: @LINUS - I checked my boxes of ammo and I am pretty much using Hornaday Amax 208 sub sonic and Barnes Vor-TX super sonic.

I have other stuff just to test with and mess with. I am zeroing on the above and that is most of my ammo. The Amax is Gorilla Ammo (208gr, 1010 fps) and the Vor-TX is mostly Barnes ammo (110gr 2350 fps).

Henry 410 lever action shotgun. 20" model

Cabelas had a crappy selection of 410 shells and when I finally found four boxes of bird/target shot I grabbed them. Of course they are 3" and this gun only takes 2.5". In my excitement at finding 410 I glanced right over 3" Damn!!!

410 on the left 22 on the right

We went out an found some 410 Turns out you can prune dead limbs from an oak tree with a 410 :)
410 needs the bigger loop. A whole lot of fun shooting this thing.

After showing up some co-workers at the range with their own weapons, and my father-in-law willing me a shotgun, a .45, and a "Judge", my wife has given me the go ahead to make a handgun purchase. I'm looking for a Glock 19, Beretta M9, and/or Sig Sauer P229 (or something along those lines). I'm most familiar with the Beretta, obviously, because it's what we used in the Marines. If you have one you are looking to part with, please feel free to PM me.

I have a Beretta 92 FS in stainless steel if that interest you.

Sometimes you get lucky. I went to Academy Sports today. Stayed out of the gun section but stopped at an end cap because of all the clearance tags. Scored some Fiocchi .25ACP JHP for $12 off regular price!

Yeah, I know...why? Because I have some .25's and ammo doesn't ever get cheaper.

Indeed you are. Even better, you are creating wealth by combining raw materials while making that currency!

I traded 410 3" shells for the best Bread & Butter pickles I ever had :)

Watch out when they come back with the .410 shells attached and demand the pickles back. I'm keeping my currency for myself.

I came into possession of an Armscor 206 double-action, blues finished .38 spl, 2-inch 6rd with wood grips.
It needs to be sold. Can anyone give me an idea of an asking price.
There is a gun and knife show in town this weekend and I was wondering if I should try and sell at it?
Thanks for any help.
Shane

Thanks for the info. I will be in touch later.
I also have a few boxes of paper 16 gauge shells. Do people still collect them? I have been out of the gun world for some time. Looking to clear up a few things.

Anybody have an O/U they want to part with?
