It's all about how ya finish

Wake ain't got a snowball's chance in Hades. ;)
If you don't believe me ask them Sooner fans. ;)

Mark Barnes or Cliff Matthews or Carlos Dunlap
would be higher rated than Willy "I like chicken" Korn.
Let's just see how Mr. 5 for 15 with 2 fumbles and an int
in the Shrine Bowl winds up rated come Feb. signing day.
Mark my words, he will not be the state's highest ranked player.
Of course if he shines in the next all star game it may change, but
I doubt it. He's had problems against quality foes lately.
CU is having a good class for sure, but it will not wind up higher
than USC's.
SOS has some big 5 star recruits yet to commit and still has USC
hanging around the top ten with this class. Problem is UGA, Fla, Tenn,
Auburn, LSU etc are doing even better.
Man, the S.E.C. is just plain brutal! :grinpimp:
I hear tell Blunt Coleman's status is up in the air. It was only a small bag
or I heard it wasn't his or he didn't inhale or we'll have to let the system
sort this out first. Presumed/assumed innocence or something.
I'm guessing he plays. :smokin:

David you must no absolutely nothing about the importance of QB's in football he will be the #1 player in SC and still at the head of the southeast regardless because his position is considered so much more important then the others. That and the fact that he is the best player. NC has more instant impact players especially on Dline that why they were able to dominate the Oline and bring pressure. If the lines are more evenly balanced he'll be fine. Spurrier definitely has some good recruits though I just wonder how many of them he called illegally.

Clemson had a game today I hope everyone watched. It wasnt very exciting since the other team forgot to drive down from Chapel Hill though. Go Tigers. ACC's best offense best running game best defense and leading rusher best d end in the country everyone looked good today.

Best best best is all I hear. Winning games is all that matters. The number don't lie. Clemson sucked this year. I see nothing next year that will make it any different next year.

After the Kentucky loss this week I'll expect that 12 pack of beer. At least I can say without a doubt that those numbers don't lie. Your down a bet and the second one isn't looking good. Worst I can do is finish even. Your losing right now. That means I'm #1 in Greenville SC @ betting against you. Andy is #1 in NC betting against you. The numbers don't lie. Fact is your gambling this year is about as good as Clemson played football. Poor.

Don't you still owe Andy a 12 pack? There is no way your going to win 12 from me.

Reports are beginning to surface about Quarterback Willie Korn's mysterious drop off the list of college recruits. After investigation, it has been reported that Korn failed to finish his last semester of high school, failing four of his five classes. Korn had given a soft verbal committment to be a Florida Gator, but such scholarship has been withdrawn. Korn has stated that he still wishes to pursue college football, but as to which school has offered a scholarship remains a mystery.

breaking news

Tommy did the right thing. Blunt Coleman will NOT play/travel
in/to the bowl game.
Kudos to the Tigers.
I know nothing about QBs? I know 5 of 15 with a pic and two fumbles
stinks. How many pics and fumbles does that make for Willie's last 3 games?
Something like 8 or 9 turnovers? You be the judge. Is that stellar QB play?
LOL...our QB recruit was the MVP of his Fla all star game and will probaly
red-shirt behind two quality QBs on campus now. :grinpimp:
Oh, and he's not as highly rated as Korn, finishing 3rd in the elite 11 behind
Korn who finished #2. Good thing he'll have SOS coach him up after
letting him red-shirt for a year and not get thrown to the wolves as a
freshman behind a new O line.
Willie is a good QB and in time will be a stellar QB at CU. In time.
Get ready for some growing pains next year at CU.

this and that

So much talk about next year. Is this year over?

LOL....it is for the Tarheel footballers. ;)

Nice hire for a coach.Great recruiter. Won a MNC at Miami.
Tarheels could be a power in the A.C.C. very soon.
I know I dread the USC/NC game next year with Davis
at the helm.
As for this year....S.E.C. rolls in the bowls.
Po old Lamecocks look headed to a shootout. I hope
they survive and don't lay (pardon the pun) an egg like
last year!
I'd bet the winner of Houston vs USC scores over 35.
Once again, LOWF ain't got a prayer.;)
Jackets minus dumb as a rock Ball are in deep do-do.
VT minus a QB looks shaky.
Golden Domers go 0 for last 9 when L.S.U. gets a hold of 'em.
Except for their S.E.C. matchups A.C.C. should do well. ;)

My 12 beers will be mighty damn tasty Marshall since Clemson is gonna beat UK and there is no way UGA is beating VT. Which means UGA wont possibly be able to finish ahead of Clemson in the polls and you will hence have lost.

You already lost one bet. You need to check your post. The next one which is undecided untill Clemson and GA play. So If I have already won one bet how can I lose both? You still haven't paid me for the first one.

I lost to Andy not you. We only made 1 bet and it was that those 5 teams would be ranked ahead of Clemson at the end of the year. When UGA loses they wont be ranked higher and therefore I will win.

I don't get it. The 5 teams in the SEC that are ranked the lowest is still better than the highest of the 5 in the ACC.

I'll take that bet and raise it to a beer worth drinking. Anything you want just not pbr. There is no way that all 4 of them will be ahead of clemson at the end of the yr especially since they have to play each other in several games so there are going to be a couple 1 or 2 loss teams there. Combine that with the fact that we should at worst lose only 1 more game in the regular season and its gonna be tough for all 4 to stay ahead of us.

Bet one. Still to be decided.

Yeah man I will make it a 12pack thats 24 beers between you and Andy I should be able to get drunk for like 2 days straight on you guys Spread on wake game dropped to 15.5 last time I checked they are making it easier for me.

We are gonna beat VT up at their place they are not nearly as talented as they have been and since I lived 40 minutes away for 14 yrs I know VT football. They have no solid QB and no running game and running game is where they always made it. Their defense is down a bit this yr too. GT will be a challenge but if you pressure reggie ball he cracks like an egg and gaines adams has always gotten to reggie ball.

Bet two: You lost this one.

Best best best is all I hear. Winning games is all that matters. The number don't lie. Clemson sucked this year.

Clemson sucked??? 8-4 is sucking? Winning roughly 70 % of your games is sucking??? there must be no words for what UNC was then this year

we were weak in one major posistion this past year; QB............. 3 of our losses were by a combined 5 points!!!

you sir have a very misguided sense of what it is to truely suck at something........... or either you are starting to talk out your ass like richard does :grinpimp:

No unc sucked too. Actually they really sucked. But I don't talk up something unless I know it's a sure thing. Guess I look at it a little different. Any team to me that isn't ranked at the end of the year sucked.

But it was good to go to a Clemson game and hear Clemson fans say their team sucks. Hee hee.

I dont think Clemson sucked I know Will Proctor sucks. He is the difference in 8 wins and 10 or 11 if we had any good QB we'd have those wins. As for the bets guess we'll brake even. I can handle that.

yes I do think you look at things a little differently than most........... and little might be an understatement :flipoff2:

I personally wouldn't use the same adjective (suck) to describe both a team that was 8-4 and one that was 3-9..... seems that broad a gap in performance would require a little more delineation between the two!

I am thinking

UNC season = monstrousity

Clemson season= undistinguished

and a side note, there is still a chance that we will be ranked pending a victory over Kentucky........... and therefore if we are ranked according to your line of thinking we will be the oppisite of "suck" and I think the best antonym would be SUPER!!! :flipoff2:

Excellent defense JP. I cant recall the last time UNC had 9 wins in a season or finished ranked.
