My prediction for the UGA Tenn game:

UGA wins... but can't beat the 2-1/2 pt spread. We decide that playing offense is highly over-rated since we can't run the ball, and can't catch it. We punt on first down all day and let the defense play the entire game... and win 2-0 on a safety.

Oh, and no matter how it happens, UGA will not beat UT on Sat.

UGA is lucky there was divine intervention in that Colorado game. Still don't know how they pulled that off.

Just like Smokey will tear little Uga a new one, UT is going to bring the pain to Athens. :flipoff2:

You are correct sir......... UGA has pulled horse shoes out of their asses two weeks in a row, I don't think it is looking good for the dogs this weekend

I willing to bet a 6 pack of PBR that all those teams Auburn, UGA, Florida, and UT rank higher than Clemson at the end of the season.

I don't get it. The 5 teams in the SEC that are ranked the lowest is still better than the highest of the 5 in the ACC.

I'll take that bet and raise it to a beer worth drinking. Anything you want just not pbr. There is no way that all 4 of them will be ahead of clemson at the end of the yr especially since they have to play each other in several games so there are going to be a couple 1 or 2 loss teams there. Combine that with the fact that we should at worst lose only 1 more game in the regular season and its gonna be tough for all 4 to stay ahead of us.

Kudos, Richard. This is by far the wisest thing you've said here. I agree.

Thanks man, its the truth Fla and Ga both have big issues on offense. Ga you can see it every time they step on the field and theres an article about Fla problems and Leak right now on espn.com and no true #2 should beat an unranked team by 7 even if its a rivalry game and the #26 team they should win by more then 7 the only reason Auburn didnt drop in the polls is cause they won and the voters wouldnt have been able to justify it and it would have been a big controversy. They dropped in the power rankings on espn, foxsports, and collegefootballnews though. UT has been whipping people though and actually look like a decent team.

real football

I told you A.C.C. guys Auburn would remain #2. They did.
UT is OVER RATED. Mark it down.
L.S.U. is probably the best of the conference right now.
UGA just keeps on winning. You A.C.C. guys just don't get it.
Close slobber knockers are the norm in the S.E.C.
Conference blowouts are A.C.C. type games. :grinpimp:
Po ol Gamecocks will have a close one with Kentucky
this weekend. Nail biters are so much fun.
Except for M.S.U. games ya better bring it on an S.E.C. Saturday or
even po ol U.S.C. will getcha! Heck even M.S.U. is improving.
S.E.C. football is second to none. Period. The polls all agree.

We played 60 minutes, and they played 59 minutes... that's how we won. ;)

care to bet on another six pack on that? You still have VT and GT to play.

meh, push overs........ its not like we are playing one of those SEC power houses :D

Yeah, and with the upcoming loss to Wake this weekend, that is 2 or 3 losses, correct?? :D

ok i have resisted, but decided to join this thread...

as a Clemson alumni and watching them over the past 5+ years religiously, i feel that the only thing that will beat Clemson this year is themselves. We have enough talent to compete with, and beat, MOST teams in the country and ALL teams in the ACC; HOWEVER, it comes down to desire, luck, and that mental aspect. We will have to have all three to finish with only one or two losses on the year. We have some challenging games ahead, but i firmly believe (even after losing Stuckey) that we have more than enough talent to win against everyone on our schedule, but talent alone does not win games (ex. The BC game). During the BC game we found ways to lose instead of making the plays we need to win. Since then we have played with that desire to win.... we will see if we can keep that up for the rest of the season. GO TIGERS!

Yeah man I will make it a 12pack thats 24 beers between you and Andy I should be able to get drunk for like 2 days straight on you guys Spread on wake game dropped to 15.5 last time I checked they are making it easier for me.

We are gonna beat VT up at their place they are not nearly as talented as they have been and since I lived 40 minutes away for 14 yrs I know VT football. They have no solid QB and no running game and running game is where they always made it. Their defense is down a bit this yr too. GT will be a challenge but if you pressure reggie ball he cracks like an egg and gaines adams has always gotten to reggie ball.

Ha, LOL. I thought you were super-drinker with the highest tolerance known to man?? A case shouldn't even faze you, right??? :D What sucks for you is that half that case is coming to me in the form of nice, cold Guinnness Draught bottles.

That line should keep moving down. Most likely the Stuckey injury impacted the move. There's no way we're a 15.5 dog at home. Though if it were up to me, it would go back up. I just looked and I still see anywhere from 16-17 and 47-48 for the o/u.

Good point about Adams dude. Out of all of your players, I worry about him the most. We have a pretty beat up OL already and he's always a threat. Plus, he has to be licking his chops because our QB is a young, inexperienced red shirt freshman. I think he'll have a big day no matter the outcome.

As far as the GT game, if you can at least limit Calvin Johnson's touches, you should win. That guy is the real deal.

Actually my opinion isnt stop calvin johnson its stop everyone else. he can have 10 cathes he better have 4 or 5 touchdowns in them though cause is everyone else has 5 catches for no scores he is gonna have to beat you alone. Last year he had 2 scored and they won year before he had a whole bunch of catches and no scores and we blew them out.

Calvin Johnson is a man child......... dude has the size of a TE and the speed of a RB, he is scary good. But he alone isn't enough to beat us, especially at home, our boys will be ready to play

There is always the exception that proves the rule.
Heck, WF has a winning record against the Cocks too!
I have a feeling this weekend's CU vs WF game is going to be
too close for comfort for some. I'm hoping for a slobber knocker
for entertainment value. :smokin:
LOL....they sure are playing some sorry football in Mississippi this year.
I can see why UT let that QB transfer. :grinpimp:

Dis is sum funny chit rit hur!!!!
