Andy your right I wont debate which school is academically better its really an impossible argument anyway since your private and segregationist and we are public. As for the game our guys arent taking it lightly at all since your 1 point win over pathetic duke gives you the atlantic lead at the moment. So it is our one sole purpose to crush you and take back what is rightfully ours. 17 points is the opening spread I'm sure it will change, I however am supremely confident that we can cover 17 with our second string and therefore I can already taste my Hoegaarden and have even told JP he can have a couple.

Actually it would show that we have THE BEST offense in the ACC and one of the best in the country, theres a lot of piss poor teams who dont lose by 50 every week. As Wake will see this weekend.

Padding your offensive stats against the dregs of college football doesn't mean you have the best offense in the ACC. Even if you did, who cares? The ACC is down this year so it's still not saying a lot.

I know I shouldn't jump into this mess but..........

we have yet to pad our stats, all three lop sided games our offense essentially did not see the field in the 2nd halfs of games (not the first stringers), we could have really run up the score a lot more and padded those stats

I would like to see some solid expamples of why our offense is not one of the best???............ I think it would be a mistake to under estimate our offense

Dont be jealous because your offense is to weak and pathetic to score a lot of points on bad teams. I agree with JP though show me any stat other then passing yardage which shows we are not one of the nations best offenses. The only reason passing yardage is down is because we dont have to throw the ball to score 50. We are second in scoring using 2nd and third string for half the game. The ACC is down because we had so many players go to the NFL last yr nothing we can do about that.

There is no underestimating your offense - containing your speed and potency to strike is always one of the challenges when playing you guys.

The Spiller / Davis back field combo along with Proctor coming into his own / gaining confidence and Stuckey as a dangerous wideout, that's a powerful combo - and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

My point was that lots of points on chump-change opposition doesn't mean much. Just like (sending beacon out to Richard) only beating Jerry Falwell U by 20 doesn't mean Wake's offense is inept. It is a coaching decision within the game.

Similar to calling off the dogs when Wake Forest was up 45-0 at halftime on Clemson a few years ago.

I wasn't complaining about the ACC being down, just another way of pointing out that if the perennial powers in this conference weren't having poor years, your Tigers would be the same mediocre, grasping for recognition team that always finishes the season somewhere around 25th in the country. Hell, after we're done with you on Saturday, you'll end up in the same place.

Another news flash - beating up on the worst teams in division 1 football won't even win you the conference title much less your delusions to national importance. There are other teams out there playing real football; not publicly flogging #118 out of 119 ranked teams and then thumping their chest.

Please send me your address since you're pussing out and not coming to the game. Weak and pathetic seems to comprise the majority of your limited vocabulary and I'd like to mail you a thesaurus to at least broaden your horizons and be able to feign an education. you'll need the return label to mail me my Guinness voucher.

Though, now that I think about it, weak and pathetic both seem apropos to describe your commitment to your team - both from traveling to an away game with free beer, food and lodging to putting your money where your overactive mouth resides.

Don't question my traveling to games though I have been to NCst, Duke, GT, UVA, VT in my time.

Back to the game, just so you'll know, I'll probably won't cry if you guys win. Just another game in an already good season for our team. We aren't going to go undefeated and most likely will lose at least 4-5 before the end.

It would be nice if we won the Clemson game but odds are in your favor. I've made plenty of concessions about you having the better team, better athletes, etc., etc.

I'm just ready for the coin toss 'cause as Big Jake says in the octogon, let's get it on!!!

I doubt you will be able to park right next to chuck as I believe he pays to park where he does........ but there is plenty of public parking near buy or you could just ride in with chuck.

If we cant park with Chuck then I already vote against that. We need to all go in together even if we go to public stuff behind brooks center. We tried this last yr with people coming up and it didnt work at all.
