Hello fellas!
As some of you know the annual SEMA show begins tomorrow. For the 2017 show we pulled out all of the stops and created what we believe is the ultimate Land Cruiser.
We are calling this new line the "Signature Series"
Keeping this rig all Toyota was the most important part. Offering a modernized LC but keeping the classic looks of the FJ43 alive and well. This machine is built to survive and thrive in any environment. We took modern components from Toyota's current line-up, along with some custom designed axles, and the top of the line accessories that make this cruiser perform flawlessly.
Under the hood we went with the popular 1GR-FE, the evolution of Toyota's V6 truck platform. Pumping out 236 HP and 266 LB/FT this smooth running power plant is a perfect fit for this 43.
Diamond axles took care of us with some very nice custom axle housings, custom width front and rear to allow for the massive hubs and brakes borrowed from the 2017 4runners. Full floating rear, massive brakes, chromoly axle shafts, ARB lockers...can they get any better?
The interior spared no expenses...custom leather wrapped Recaro seats, hand formed center console housing an Ipad, Vintage air a/c controls, and a beautiful leather wrapped vintage Toyota steering wheel finishes off this luxurious interior.
The matte dune beige paint is a classic touch that keeps this truck looking old and new at the same time.
There are so many custom touches on this truck, we challenged our development team with recreating a lot of the smaller features of the FJ43, the mirrors, door handles, dash knobs, shifters, definitely a lot of time invested in design and CNC work to develop all of these new parts.
