http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/pts/4852680303.html here is another set. Need to check our 04. On the 99 there are spot welded brackets the running board brackets bolt to. Had to straighten the passenger's rear bracket a little. Thought about beefing it up. Looks the FJ Cruiser frame is set up to bolt sliders on. Would be nice if the 4Runner was setup the same way.

a rare 1982 fj40!

nah....I already have the one I want :steer: Dont think Ill have more than the 2.

I will say there are an incredible amount of folks on the board that have 3 or 4 cruisers in thier stable.

...of course "living in the Past" skews the avg CSC Cruiser per household census :grinpimp:

My 4Runner is set up to bolt sliders on. Thats the way I'm going to go.
Pretty much the same frame as an FJ

Good thing CSC doesn't charge membership on a per cruiser basis.

Recently I did have 3 but I saw the light:flipoff2:

It's been over twenty years since I was close to just three. Since the Sequoia and 4Runner aren't Land Cruisers I can honestly say it's been over three and a half years since I've bought a Land Cruiser. Even that one I tried to help the owner sell it here on Mud for a while. Two or three before that one this one was for sale right here https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/fj40-for-sale.89487/#post-2219794 for over a year. Not worried about loosing money on that if I decide to sell. My FJ45 well it's a FJ45. Only thing I can say was ever on a bucket list and this was before bucket was even a term we all know today. The last forty years I've learned a lot about old Land cruisers and Air conditioners. Figured I do better investing in in Land Cruisers over old air conditioners.:meh:

Pretty much the same frame as an FJ

Are you going to be at the next meeting? Would be interested seeing them as well as comparing our 04s next to each. Wife keeps telling I should use it off road but to me it looks like a low rider next to 99 as far as ground clearance.

sliders for what ?

I meant, for what vehicle ?
