For $50 DES released the lien and the trailer is officially mine! :bounce: The money they collected from me will go toward the seller's unpaid child support.

 still a good price.

Glad it worked out for you. $50 is a bad to clean title. My second 1/4 ton was bought off CL and had a lien also. The PO's father had a lien on it. The woman at DMV just laughed and gave me a title. PO had permanent plate and the transfer was under $10. The she laughed was the lien was from 1963. The PO was 86 when I bought the trailer in 2010.

2003 currently advertised @ $15500.

Data point for this rig, if anyone is looking at 100 series rigs:
Test drove this one a couple months ago, still available. At that time it was priced around $19k.
Has 135k miles but has had the timing belt changed (If I remember correctly, the sticker on the cover said @ 107k).

As I recall it was fairly clean but did have a few dings on the outside.
The issues I recall from driving this one:
- sounded like all of the speakers were blown
- power door locks were inoperable on most/all of the doors
- hood/tailgate lift shocks were all dead
- navigation not operable due to missing disk --> A/C was still functional.
- rear entertainment system dvd player wouldn't work with the dvd the sales guy tested it with
- suspension was really soft and could use new shocks
- front passenger window had sensor issue on the auto-up that caused it to roll back down when it reached the top

At the time I looked at this Cruiser they would only come down on the price a few thousand... the current advertised price is less than what they came down to in my negotiations, but still a bit higher than I'd pay for this rig given all of the different things it needs.

What's a HG job cost, round numbers? $1,000? $2,000?

IIRC, if having it done, ~$1500. But that can greatly very depending on what all it needs. Is the problem even the head gasket?

I'm going to start filtering everything that sells for $2550...

Exactly, the standard $2552 is more like it...
