94 for 3800
Might be worth taking a look at if your looking for a cruiser:
1994 Toyota Landcruiser 4X4 fJ80

Ok after a closer look at the pictures I remember taking a look at this one the first time it was posted here is what i recall:
290K on the clock
Seats are in almost perfect (way to clean) condition might be swaped - take a look at the trim on the driver door looks like they solve the issue with the vynil coming off the door.
Grill is busted
looks like it leaked a bit to me - fresh oil in the right front wheelwell
Has been sitting outside - has some oxidation and the rubber between the flares and body is cracked and brittle
Didnt look like it had been wheeled much - rockers looked in good shape
Started, ran and drove well - 4l engaged and Center Diff worked.
new rear shocks - who knows why
Had him to 2800 cash a week ago but he had it listed for 3200 that day :)

is it locked?

I saw that LX or one very similar off the 260 north side last weekend at what appeared to be a car lot of vehicles near Linden area.

I know the guy who "salvaged" this unit. It is a 4 cylinder deisel and has the H55 5 speed (which wont work without mods in 6 cyl vehicles) The body is rotted out but there are some mechanicals there.

matching numbers

matching numbers

I think it's funny matching numbers. All that means on a FJ40 is the tub and frame were from the same vehicle unless someone used new pop rivets to switch the plates on the tub. At least the early FJ40 had the engine serial number on the VIN plate so you could at least tell if the engine was original.

Says speedometer, wipers and gas gauge don't worked. But lists a mileage:confused:. Murf and I looked at this 40 some months ago when it was at a private party home in the west valley. This thing is full of rust. I have a 82 tub and frame in my back yard that is probably in better shape and it was parted out by the PO. This isn't worth half the asking price of $14K.

Edit: Click on one of the pictures and it takes you to their site. It is now listed as sold.

So you might ask why did packet post up a bunch of 4runners, well I was looking for the unobtanium 4runner which is a third gen with the 3.4 engine and a manual transmission and the e-locker in the rear. So none in AZ so then I ran it through auto-trader and not a single one nationally. Guess they are really rare :poof:

I am the proud owner of one of these very rare 4Runners. Mine is white. I bought it from Tempe Toyota in Jan '97. I think it's awesome.
