No real body rust that I was aware of, just undercarriage and misc. bolt rust. It just made PM's/repairs more of a chore than I liked to deal with. BTW, I sold it because it was my 3rd car, not because of any rust/issues. I put in a blue base fan clutch, headlight relays, the Hellroaring dual-battery setup, etc. I sold it and our minivan and upgraded to a 100 series. :D Y'all can argue if that was an upgrade or not...

From 2009. I'm not responsible for anything after that, but there's some good shots of the undercarriage, and engine bay.

Thank you very much for the info, I appreciate it.

One of my students' parents is selling a 96. Don't have any more details than that at the moment, but I will put some more info up in the next 24 hours.

1996 Grey Toyota Land Cruiser

Word is the seat is getting a fix, maybe some other stuff? I have no idea on the condition, just passing the word along. I'll be glad to check it out, and I think bwesty has seen it as well. He's also the owner of the two-tone green 60 some Tucson folks might recognize.

2000 Toyota Land Cruiser

Smokin' deal on a 100. Amazingly clean. Driver's seat leather in great shape. 1 scrape on front PS fender and at the back of the PS front wheel well above mud flap. TB changed 3 times, last at 18X,XXX according to the sticker. Eclipse HU with DVD, Navi, and BT. Underneath looks brand new. No tick from the exhaust, and even has the "D" light mod ;)

Bullbar

Found this posted on 2/27. I know most feel the newer design is better but if you like old school it hard to beat the price for one local.

Very solid custom front bumper with winch mount and lighting mount. Came off of old Toyota land cruiser, but will fit whatever you can weld it to!

Solid custom front bumper

As of now the ad is still there but the bumper is in my garage setting on a cruiser. They also gave me the old school light bar and lights that came off the same troopy. Just need to figure out if thery are 12 or 24 volt since it was a diesel.

Nice! Maybe just the picture but that color looks unfamiliar.

Likely the pic, everything looks a bit yellow. Flares have definitely been painted. If it's stock, it's either white or desert dune, both are great colors.

The name of the thread is "Found a good deal on CL" Doesn't say if it still have to be for sale.:meh: Not looking to flip. Not the best off road bumper but has the old school look I want for my pickup.

Those switches are pretty simple to take apart and clean... with the exception of one spring but keep it in place and your golden. I took it all apart and took me a while to figure out a method for reassembly but it all worked out in the end. ;)

I went and took a look at this one just the other day with my bro. Pics looked great, but it did not. It spent most of its time in Oregon and Hawaii... naturally, lots of rust everywhere. The color looks weird 'cause it was a bad paint job with every edge showing the original maroon color bleeding though. Lots of mickey mouse work done under the hood: fusible link was re-soldered instead of replaced, PCV grommet was replaced with electrical tape, throttle cable loom was broken and patched with electrical tape, large oil puddle under truck. Diff would not disengage after going back to high gear. Not to mention the owner recently found out that it was salvaged back in 1997 due to what he thinks is a roll over since there is bondo work on the roof. He told me he dropped the price to $3K and I still didn't want to touch it, but that could have been the overwhelming smell of dog ****.... although he was a pleasant guy. :D
