A few weeks ago, I was able to help return The YetiWagon to its rightful owner. To show his appreciation, Al sent some delicious and rare beers over to my coworker me. While the Pliny the Elder succumbed to death via shipping, the Pliny the Younger arrived well packaged and unharmed. This was a delicious beer. One of the best we’ve had. Period. My wife intended to have just a sip; she would not be denied her half of the bounty after trying it. Thank you, Al! It was amazing and memorable.

Nice!!! Pleasure was all mine. Sad the elder died in transit. But glad it was that one and not the younger. They announced that the bottling was a one time deal and prices on beer cellar websites have skyrocketed to friggen pappy levels of inflation. So ill get you another elder next time I'm down that way and send it to you.

Super glad Mark didn't drink it, can't believe I mixed up your guys address. Lol

While I don't really look down on eateries for their selection I did give a waitress a look like this one time when we went to the closest bar to our house in Charlotte when we first moved in. It was St Patties day I think so we were just looking for cheap green beer and they were also doing Jello Shots. They had bottles of beer, no list only Domestic and Import. When I asked what they had for import, the only actual import was Heniken, the others, Sam Adams, Blue Moon, Shock Top, Shiner Bock, etc..... The waitress seemed confused as hell when I explained they were all domestic beers.

I grabbed those top two a few weeks back as gifts for our warehouse Mgr’s who have been working crazy hours. They said they liked stouts but neither were prepared for those selections. 😆

A resident culture pick for me tonight

Here’s what I’m NOT drinking right now.

I've tried that.. it tastes like kalua, some cheap vodka and cream. I was too curious to not buy a 4pack and try with some friends.
Will not be buying it again though.

Oh, my. This is a little fruitier at the end than my beloved Elvis Juice, but not too much. Well balanced to my palate. By far the beat MN beer I’ve found on this trip. @landwagon

Fair State Coop’s Mirror Universe hazy IPA.
