I have seriously considered it. I rented a 2018 Range Rover Sport base model for a couple days and liked it, and the best part about it was that because it was light on options (and no doubt had a fleet discount) the MSRP was only $64k. It still had the Meridian sound, adaptive suspension, pano roof, and some other good stuff. The reliability has gone way up since Tata took over, and the RRS (especially the base) has at least as high if not higher residual than the Land Cruiser. Generally speaking, the RRS feels at least 5 years newer than a new LC from a tech and design standpoint, and it has presence on the road that few other cars can match at any price point. I would of course be one of the few who would wheel it which concerned me about durability in those scenarios, and after I weighed all the pros and cons it made more sense for me to stick with the LC. I would like to mention one of the biggest cons was that my wife hates the image the RRS conveys, and after having some high end German cars I can confirm people have some serious aggression to conspicuously nice cars. Also, I wouldn't own a RRS out of warranty, ever, under any circumstance, but they are not the same company they used to be. It's a seriously good SUV, and if you can find a lower spec'd one in the low to mid $60k range, it's not a bad way to go IMO.
