Any one know of any good trails south south Texas RGV area. I drive out to where I grew up to fish, mainly caliche roads and fields.

Howdy from The Woodlands, TX!

Where have you been hiding that beauty?
No hiding here! I prance her all over The woodlands and Texas. I frequent the hill country (family house in Kingsland, hidden falls a few times a year!) If you see me, stop me! I love to talk cruisers. @cruiserpat on Instagram to follow along on the build.

We usually rent a place in Kingsland every spring, I'll have to keep an eye out for you. I was in the Woodlands a lot this past week, headed back to Conroe this coming week to pick up my motorcycle from the dealer, I rarely see any late model 200's up there but they are all over the Medical District.

If you ever want to wheel while you’re in Kingsland, let me know. Hidden falls is close, as is Off camber but I’ve never been.

I went to Rice and used to go for walks in West U on the weekends just to look at all the cruisers. Not many up here in The Woodlands.

I don't enjoy being in the medical district, the traffic and parking sucks and I am sick of the appointments but such is life. We have done our fair share of HF trips over the years but it's always a good time. I have never heard of Off Camber, I'll have to look into that. I look forward to getting back to the lake in a few months.

While putting together a meet at Big Bend wouldn't be difficult, the logistics of finding camp sites and/or alternative over night accommodations out there for everyone would be quite the undertaking if not altogether impossible. PINS on the other hand, while not as exciting of a location would be much easier to make happen. I am open to suggestions here and alternative locations so that we can start to seriously discuss dates for next year.

Recently picked up my 2016 here in San Antonio Tx. Love to have a meeting nearby. We love Big Bend and PINS. Work schedule is crazy and unfortunately wife is nursing a back injury or we would be down for most destinations. Just a recommendation for tent camping near the BBNP. Rancho Topanga is great for group meets and they have pretty good Bath/houses for campers.
Already have Rhino Rack platform ready to install and soon Lift and larger tires.

Big Bend is ideal from November to March in regards to the weather/temps with the obvious avoidance of mid March due to the influx of spring break visitors. April can be a fantastic month for out there so long as it isn't a wet April or unseasonably warm. What does everyone think about the end of April, 4/28-5/1 specifically? It's the weekend after Easter so it won't step on any toes there for those who celebrate and it's before things start to get really warm and before school ends for those with kids. I am not married to this date, if this is too soon for most to plan for/ask off then we can explore dates more towards the end of the year.

We could run trails in the National park over the course of two days and the same for the State Ranch park as well. I am not committed to a set trail schedule and would actually be more open to a run whatever you want system that would allow for smaller groups to break up and spread out. Thoughts/suggestions on how to go about this would be much appreciated. Christmas Mountain is a nice half day addition but they only allow four vehicles up at a time and it's split into morning and afternoon groups so only eight vehicles per day can make that trip. It would be nice if we could get the entire group together for dinner at least one of the nights, possibly at the Starlight Theater but I'd be open to other suggestions as well.

The only issue with 4/28-5/1 is that happens to be the exact dates they just announced a few days ago for Toyota Jamboree. Jambo is supposed to usually be a pretty sizeable crowd and having never been I actually signed up last night

The proposed trip though sounds awesome and I'd be in 100%; I think last time I was out there at BBNP it was first week of April and the weather was perfect

I should be able to make pretty much any date happen so I’m down for whatever works for the most people.

That is good to know. Like I said, I am not married to the date, I am just trying to push it out far enough so that people have time to work it into their schedules but not far enough out that weather/temps become an issue. If it gets beyond first part of May the heat and kids being out of school become an issue and we'd need to look at October or later.

I would tentatively be in for those dates.

That sounds like a great little trip--Fredericksburg is always an easy sell to my wife too
I would like to 3rd this comment. Would be fitting to finish at Signor vineyards with that old LC out front.

I live in NW Austin with a 2013 LX and would love to a meetup or trip. I am open to dates/locations but PINS and BB sound great.
