Sledding. Some snowy back roads but didn’t get a pic until we landed on some pavement. Just rolled 2000 😁

I heard from the senior service guy at local Toyota dealership - latest Tundra & Sequoia: No front attachments; plows, winches, from hitch receivers - something about blocking air flow to front mounted coolers? I would love a front receiver, maybe upgraded bumper and future winch ability!

I can tell that air flow is extremely important to turbo engines. On my other vehicle I even took one of two horns out, because they obstruct air flow.

220k turbo engine looked like crap inside when I split it open for overhaul. They are fun to drive, but if you want a long-term reliability - stay away from anything that Victor Shepherd didn't take to 1 million miles, twice.

Would love to fight off the ugly sag wife's TRD PRO has being unloaded. Was looking at Dobinson coils for a long time.

Your Limited came with coils, no air bags?

I first installed only the rear springs and drove it around like that for about a week. Honestly, the rake wasn't even that bad with only the lift in the rear, and I barely noticed any difference at all in the ride quality (it was not truck like at all). It wasn't until I installed the fronts today that the overall ride felt a little bit more truck like (but just a little).

Here's a photo with only the rears installed:

And here's a photo with both front and rear installed (the shadows sort of make it look like it has reverse rake, but it doesn't):

Using a bottle jack to get the old rear springs out and new in (no spring compressor needed, the rear springs are the same height as the old, but are a higher spring rate and so provide the extra 1.75" lift height that way):

Finally got some method wheels. Waited a year in hopes of getting the 312 but they were discontinued after all that waiting. But, these are actually better in some ways. I kinda like that they are closer to factory offset. But best of all, the truck doesn’t look like a grandpa truck anymore. Ha!

Our local CNY club joined Upstate Toyotas and converged on Wallenpaupack Brewing Company in Hawley PA for a Toyota Mega Meet to meet Long Island Toyotas and Valley Yotas.

There were many others at the brewery, but I did not break on the cameras there for long, but here is Sequoia Row:

A few of the group joined us at the lake (before the Police kicked us out):

Is that your blue 1st gen? 05-07 model? If so, what clear corners do you have? Been wanting a set but have been skeptical of Amazon/ebay quality.

I no longer have a 1st gen. The black 2nd gen is mine.

FWIW, the clear corners have leaked on mine when I had them, and the blue owners just started leaking as well.

Another work trip. Put the stock tires and suspension to the test. Didn’t get stuck - but can’t wait for the upgrades. Anyone know what size tire I can get away with **and still clear chains**?

General Grabber A/TX, they appear larger in the same size and do very well in a similar looking terrain up in state of Maine wilderness, mud or snow. Quieter than KO2, too.
