Hey all,
So I'm leaking gas pretty bad through the filler neck. Anyone ever put a gas hose down the neck for a temporary fix? I have a good filler neck on another landcruiser but would rather wait till spring to tackle it

A few people have cut out the bad section of filler pipe then installed a fuel rated hose to fill the gap with two clamps on either end of the hose. Haven't done this myself but others have said one potential issue is that the stock (single) filler pipe (without aux tank) is not supported at the top so some sort of support might be required (if the filler pipe is cut).

Reading through some of the threads below might help:

I toss the Hose and Replace with the Reinforced Hose that will not Collapse.
Super Handy for Fuel Transfer.
The higher you lift the Filling gas Jug the faster it will flow.
I have filled my Cruiser many times this way.
Have a Drawer setup so put Jerry Can (or Scepter) on Drawer and Slide open Window and start Siphon.
Works Slick.
Stored in a Piece of 1.5" PVC with Cap that is Zip Tied to Roof Rack. If a POS Steals it, will buy another for $20.
