if you have any questions please post up, or if you do not wish to camp at spivey cove with the main group post up.

thanks guys
JP

Same rules as last year right David?

same rules as last, just they have gotten stricter........... if everyone is smart about it and doesn't leave beer cans and such laying around we shouldn't have a problem

It's all about enforcement. All politics are local.
New emphasis has been added. Coolers are subject
to "no warrant" search if the local is so inclined.
Clubhouse fridge is available. Careful when ya open
the door, some old rare wild turkey is liable to fly out.
Steve gave him to me at the Pigout. It'll be that bird's
first and last trip to Tellico. I'm releasing him into
his natural element while there.

Soooooooo, to further clarify, the only place we can "safely" consume an adult beverage is in the rental?

dem's da rules

Look, I stand by what I wrote. It is clear and unambigious.
NO ALCOHOL in CAMP. PERIOD. Your call if you go outlaw.
Bring cash for your bail. :grinpimp:
Club follows all rules and regulations. As always.

Not trying to put you on the defensive David, so sorry if it came off that way.

I also am not asking for you to relay local rules and regs in another county and state in infinite detail. I can call the appropriate folks for an in-depth Q&A if I'm so motivated...

Just trying to clarify / understand the club's position on alcohol possession / consumption given the new circumstances.

All is good...

I envy you (Tellico 1st time)

If you are so inclined, the club room is reserved in
in the club name. I don't think anyone will using the room
that night. Checkin, pay tab, and we'll reimburse you
pronto. Chill out after you set camp, or wait till we get
there to help. Use the room. Tellico isn't a place to go exploring alone
for the first time. Nasty stuff :bounce: LOL...hint:
anything other than 1 has pucker spots.
See ya there!

You holding for non-members? We got wagons coming from Auburn and ATL

yeah we will be holding spots for everyone, there are only 12 spots in the campground and that is assuming no one else has taken any by the time we get there...............

so we will have as many spots as we can get, I imagine we will be able to squeeze everyone in without any problems

*edit* how many are you guys bringing up??? and glad you guys are coming this looks to be a killer event

the hotel room is a safe haven for those who don't want to take a chance at a run in with the wardens, by no means will you be forced to keep your beverages there, we just wanted to offer the option of storing it there.......

I think if you have liquor you can just keep that hidden in your cruiser or so forth, and it won't be a problem or if you keep your cooler locked up in your vehicle.

as usual Solo cups are a smart idea :D and just making sure we don't leave beer cans laying around camp
we just wanted to make sure ahead of time that eveyone knew about the game wardens having the right to check coolers and fine you..............

by no means are trying to make this a dry camping experience or limit the drinking to the confines of a tiny hotel room :D, we are just saying be careful and watch your arse, drink at your own risk and so forth :grinpimp:

I personally will be enjoying adult beverages although well concealed

Club rules

We obey the rules. It's that simple.
Openly, publicly, condoning otherwise should not
be club policy. I ain't a cop and don't want
to spoil anyone's time. It's a person choice.
It's a public campground and all may do as they wish.
It's a free country. My position is not my preference,
it's the law. Don't say you weren't warned by UC.
That said, THE CLUB does not CONDONE breaking laws/rules
etc. hehe...I think it's in the by-laws.
Look, I ain't got a problem. I was trying to help.
I don't personally care what anyone does.
Dang, I'll tolerate about anything. Live and let live.
Sorry if I've offended anyone. Have a  on me when I get there.
Party pooper Dave...
