OK I am ready to enlarge the rotor centers to 4.20'' but have no idea what kind of shop locally can do this type of work!!!?? What do I need to ask for or look for? Is this just run of the mill "machine shop" work? I'm trying to also enlarge some aluminum wheel centers to fit my 40 and figure they could be done by the same shop. I'm in Dallas and this is pretty uncommon stuff to look for locally......

Am I smoking crack here?

Any machine shop should be able to do both iterms for you. When I had the center of my wheel opened up, I did not even have to dismount the tires.

The will bore the wheels, and just use a lathe on the rotors.

Some shops, atleast here, won't do it for liability reasons. It helps to tell them it's for an "off-road only" rig.

I took an axle and a rotor to my local machine shop and said make the rotor fit this axle, it was cheap and easy.

I have these Teflon coated Mojave AR wheels which have centers that are 6 on 5.5 but the Aisin locking hubs I have just won't fit. It's by a miniscule amount. I have tried to sell them but the shipping is a real deal killer plus I love these wheels and they look great on a 40.

They are probably GM wheels, I went thru the same thing to get them to fit.

Thanks...there should be plenty around I just need to look. Now that the world fell off the edge I'm sure there's deals out there and people looking to make some jack on the side.
