Well then I'd like to see this happen. Greg seems to have "volunteered" (correct me if I am wrong) his place in Phoenixville for a tech day and I'd have to say his place is probably the most centralized and best equipped location/facility. It's also a commercial operation so not in anyone's neighborhood. Greg I know you have a lift could one or two other spots be available for anything not requiring the lift? I'd be interested in helping any way I can. Now that we have a new prez maybe Brian can chime in!!!!
One thing to remember is that not all "projects" are doable in a day.

I’m slowly assembling all the gear so that I can attend the next Club Green trails day in my 100.
I’ve got a set of KO2s, a set of Tundra wheels, removable mud flaps, a Ham radio & the sliders are on order.

If the tech day featured a “how to prep your LC” section, I’m sure there would be many members interested in attending.

Sit in driver seat, drive to Rausch Creek. (prep complete) - then Follow Andy or Avi. ;)

Honestly, the best investment I've made so far were sliders, and it sounds like those are on the way. From there, it's just a positive attitude and an understanding that, if you're wheeling, you might wind up with some scrapes. That said, most everyone comes out of the green trail days mostly unscathed. Unless you're me and are magnetically attracted to trees.

I know its far off for a lot guys, but Landcruiserheaven is located in Hagerstown, MD.

Maybe Frank might entertain a tech day there. I can ask him and see.

Btw, not affiliated with LCH in any way.

For the “Keystoners” that wheel most months, the prep required must seem obvious.
For newbies, checklists of minimum sensible requirements are spread all over Mud & are usually contradictory.
The requirements for Western & East Coast terrains vary widely & the advice varies with that.
A simple “sticky” on this clubs MUD page would be very useful.
It could cover items like where to find the Rausch Creek forms & which radios frequncies are used, plus which mods are best to minimize body damage.

My son points out that I live circa 30 miles from Rausch but have never been there. Time to change that !

A pretty good idea.
Its 26 for me....

BaoFeng UV-5R Dual Band Two Way Radio (Black)

$35.98 on amazon.
Should be fine for Rausch Creek & AOAA.
It is still in its box & I haven’t got around to starting the study for a ham license yet.

Wait ... there was a test?
