I got mine a couple of days ago, it happened that my partner in crime and the guy who's garage I'm building my BJ40 in was at the house when they arrived. I live in the fabricating capitol of the world as we can't get s*** because of import taxes etc. so we make everything we need. He examined the hinges as I unpacked them and was very impressed. He couldn't believe the quality. They are perfect. As a side note, as we were unsure of the shipping to the Philippines we priced it wrong and Matt sucked up $33 bucks to get them on the way. I think that pissed his wife off and know it left him short on the deal. In the end I owe Matt 33bucks and a debt of gratitude for a superior product that will make my life considerably easier. Now if I can get him to design a set of tailgate hinges, so I can remove my ambulance doors and replace with a tailgate just as easy as the doors/half doors I can make up my debt to him and be ahead of the game when I want to take the BJ40 up the mountain without the wife complaining about the damn rattling doors. Well done Matt

These hinges are a work of art. Phase 1 of install complete. Thanks for the quality product!

I will update the thread when I use the seam sealer on the hinges.

The rubbers wont pop off the original hinges?

I estimated that the removal process would have damaged the rubbers and that using a seam sealer would be a better option.

There was no way for me to save the rubber either. I have yet to follow up with the seam sealer but will do so soon.

Thanks Lee. That's very humbling! I'm working dilligently on refining my production process so you guys get your hinges more quickly. I have a lot of tools to build while I wait for more hinge parts. The ambulance door hinges will come, but I won't make any promises of just when. Now, if I could just get the "Honey do" list to take a break...

Just ordered a set for my project build. I have the cowl off the body getting it ready to mate to a Aqualu body. So this is the best time to make this change. Only took about ten minutes to get the old hinges off.
When do you expect to have them ready to ship?

My birthday is coming up and my dad wants to get me a pair of these.

Any chance you I can have them by April 26?

Tried calling, but didn't get an answer.

I talked to matt today. he burnt his hand at work and has been out of commission for a little while. he will get back to you. I would PM him
