Trying to remember how these guys work. I see the four filaments, but don’t remember how each works. Parking, Break, Blinker

Anyone got this on the front of their mind, while I continue to search?

Speaking back on that light... I cant remember One filament from each bulb for the running lights.
Four for the break lights
Blinking all four for the blinker?
Sound right?

In the picture above, my tail lamp, has two bulbs w two filaments each. Which lights when? I am perhaps being restarted.

The guy doing the wiring, a fellow climber, (yes I have elicited help for a project that exceeds my abilities in a timely manner. For gods sake this has lasted 5+years, doing the electrical would take me another 5 years!) has asked me how they operate. I used to know but can’t remember.

Oooo
Those are some pretty lenses!!!! Envy
I have a pair that was on before that was all red and now I have a pair like the ones you showed w the orange.
One would imagine that only the outside bulb worked w the blinker and then the running lights and the brake lights would both work off the inside bulb. Right?

Right.

If you want spendy replacements

Or just red

Ooo lala!

I saw those during my quest for how the bulbs operated.

They currently aren’t in stock. I did send them my email. At least I could decided later. I image that 165 is for a pair….

The housing is clearly stamped.

USA 1073 on the left (turn)
1156 is electrically compatible
base: Ba15s (single contact/single filament)

USA 1034 on the right (tail/stop)
1157 is electrically equivalent (and will likely last longer)
Base: Ba15d (dual contact/dual filament) index base (axially offset pins, one direction only)

BA15 base is a Bayonet base with a diameter of 15mm (0.59in)

The letter after the base diameter represents the number of contacts on the bottom of the base:
  • D - double contact
  • S - Single contact
