Any thoughts on rear tail light options? Picking this bad boy up today and it doesn't have any signal lights

I like those - not sure how my 72 would deal with LED's. Not being a purest I did the autozone trailer lights cheap plastic. I bought the left and 2 rights (so I have an extra lens). Drilled holes, ran a ground wire and siliconed the lens in to help seal out water.

I think I'm gonna have to install them on the rear quarter panels 🤔 luckily it isn't original metal since the previous previous owner cut the rear quarter panels off when he stretched the wheel base

This is what I would do. Obviously not going stock so instead of cutting hole in the quarter panels would just bolt these on the back. The jeep style includes a reverse light. See those cheap on Amazon. If you not setup up for LED turn signals would have deal with the LED version. Might be a little more exposed to damage from branches but are cheap to replace.

The neighbor lady is on like her 3rd set of these lights. Short tongue trailer turn quick and 70 year old depth perception isn't always top notch.

I have a kinda similar bumper. I recessed mine into the bumper for protection. I have come down on many a ledge and never touched the lenses.

When they get power they glow red or bright white depending on the circuit.

Your bumper is a bit different, but a little creativity will get something in there. The advantage of these types of lights is they’re cheap and plentiful.

Most places around here have limited flat area, we are mountain goat acres. Then there is stuff in the way that you are trying to back around. The biggest issue for her is she is a small person so seeing over the trailer can be an issue. Second is she leaves in the day time and gets back in the dark, which makes it much harder to judge the distance to stuff, and then there is the wood rounds she dumped off on the trip before.
