bringing back a old thread
After seeing this thread https://forum.ih8mud.com/fj45-owners-club/563358-pictures-early-fj45-license-bracket.html I looked and found a original FJ45 license plate bracket from a mid sixties FJ45LP-B.
It brings up a couple questions. Which side did the tail light with the license plate light lense go on? It would appear the left side if the turn signal were on the outside. Bear's post number ten here states license plates were on the right side. But the 65 parts book shows a US market tail light, license plate holder and support rod. Looking at mine the only way I could see this might mount mount would be the support rod bolt at the end of the rear crossmember. The main frame rails and angle braces did not have any holes for the rod to bolt to
Second it also looks like the bumperette would not work on the side with the license plate. Bear's picture only has one on the left side and license plate on the right. Is this correct?
