Swapping a '77 2F and 4 spd into a '74

nope all straight forward.
hardest part will be the harness for the alternator.
2f is high on the ps, 1.5f in the 74 is low on the ds.
fyi the 74 should have a four speed in it. it would also be the lower low range gearing in the transfer case.

depending on when it was produced, early 74's still used a 3 speed, at least a 55 I owned had a 3 speed and a F1.5
