i am looking to jack my cruiser up and was looking at the skyjacker 4" and the black diamond 3" lifts does anyone run either of these and if so how is the articulation...??? i want to flex baby

if your looking for flex go with a spring over. i run the skyjacker and have no problems with any of the trails i run ,mostly the rubicon and anything in the tahoe area but if you want to really flex go with a spring over or just get some coils

out of the box, the Skyjacker 4" is one of the better ones...also, check BDS tho, their lifetime warranty doesn't hurt...

I had problems with the Skyjacker 5" system in my 84 truck. I kept flattening rear springs. so if your going to be wheeling with lots of flex skyjacker's softride springs may not be up to the task. They sent me new ones twice for the cost of shipping so they are good with their CS, but they springs just were not well designed for long term durability. ( I used the kit exactly as their instructions said with no other suspention mods). I have Old Man Emu 2.5" springs under my FJ in a soa set up and they are very flexible. I do think that they are over priced though. so in conclusion I would concure and just save for a spring over.

I was looking at Skyjacker untill the CCOT HFS spring came out. Have only heard good things so far. Do your research before handing over the cash. Good Luck.

For the most flex I'd definetly go SOA, but the 'install' process is a bitch if doing yourself and $$$$ if you aren't, so not always a practical solution to some. Also a SOA will lift it alot, far more than any 4"-ish lift.

i have heard some about the bds and hrs lifts from ccot, what is the diff between the two as far as flex and ride etc..
