Thanks for your contribution Lumpskie.
In all the pictures that Ive seen of these arms show very little room for the arm to actually move, meaning side to side creating arm to bracket bind. They do seem to work better then stock fore sure. The Hyper arm set up is interesting to say the least. I wonder if they have any options to move the axle forward?
Thanks. The pictures really don't do the arm justice. I need to to find a higher rock or a deep ditch to show how much extra travel is there. Yes they do have arms that move the axle forward. Each arm designed for lift has added length to maintain stock wheelbase. Their 4-6" arms have 1 additional inch, I believe. I didn't go that route because I already had my LandTank caster plates (didn't want to cut them out and repair the stock bracket) and my current caster worked well with my stock driveshafts. Plus, the ability to swap the stock arm back in was a draw.

There are two issues with Superflex arms (ie. a set with a 'superflex' arm on the left and a conventional-type one on the right) - the left arm 'fights' the right one on the road, and the adaptor provided to use with the right side for re-positioning the swaybar doesn't position the arm in the right position so its 'twisted' in how it mounts to the chassis and axle housing.

Because to fit the superflex arm on the the left side (I'm presuming it's the same as on our RHD 80's) you have to cut off the swaybar mount on the axle housing it causes the swaybar to 'rotate' laterally when everything is re-connected.

I personally am very disappointed with the arms.

Interesting feedback @sunrk - I've always been happy with the steering parts etc I've got from Superior, however, I called them about the Superflex/Hyperflex arms for my last 80 and they were difficult to get on with to the point of being rude when I asked about the arms being longer than stock, was told they wouldn't make them longer because it would put the axle out of alignment and the scrubbing on the back of the guard was my fault and couldn't be fixed because I had -44 offset rims etc etc.

Wasn't sure if it was this individual who didn't know what they were talking about or what, but decided to take my business elsewhere for the arms.

getting off topic, what did you end up buying? I looked for snake racing arms and it seems they're only available as part of a kit now.

I sold the 80 before putting the arms on, got the 40 itch, but was gonna get Delta VS arms

Honestly, your earlier feedback is what made me go with the stock caster single arm rather than a set with caster built in... just in case I didn't like it. But, after a few thousand miles of freeway, backroads and off pavement driving, I haven't had a single issue with mine. I cut off the stock sway bar tab, like you mentioned but I don't run a front sway bar. I haven't had a single unusual handling incident and my wife drives my rig without issue. I even towed my 22' boat with it. (Only on slower side roads)

Like @AussieHJCruza mentioned, their sales rep was worthless. So I ordered through extreme landcruiser here in the U.S. I'd love to do a direct comparison between the delta arms and the superior setup. I'm prettty confident that the cab will sit flatter with the Superior arms.

He Guys thank you for this post! I am in the process of buying a Superior 3 Inch Lift Kit Suitable For Toyota Landcruiser 78/79 Series 6 Cyl with Tough Dog Shocks now I am worried... Delta doe not offer an alternative for HZJ78 Land cruiser any other recommendation?

This is the kit I have in mind :Superior 3 Inch Lift Kit Suitable For Toyota Landcruiser 78/79 Series 6 Cyl with Tough Dog Shocks | Superior Engineering

Superior Engineering makes solid kits. I ended up going with a Slinky Stage 1, adjustable panhard, delta rear bracket and a single Superflex arm. My pieced together kit flexes very well. I'd bet that kit would flex well too.

Here's my uphill flex... just like it would work climbing a rock on the trail:

The 80 series radius arms are the same as the 79/78/76 pre 2016 arms. I run the delta 80 series arms on my HDJ79. Awesome bit of kit. 80 series springs and shocks are about 2" longer however.
