Hi all,
Looking at replacing my injectors on my 4.6.

Its stock with a high flow fuel pump, adjustable fuel regulator, a decent exhaust system and runs the Harrop TVS 1900 supercharger @ 8psi boost.

Should I be looking at stock or high flow injectors ?
I know the stock Denso injectors are used on both the 4.6 1UR-FE and the 3UR-FE 5.7

Do you have a tune and are you monitoring your A/F ratio?

AFAIK the stock injectors are 372cc and the Denso TRD ones that Magnuson includes and Toyota used stock for that blower are 535cc. 8psi seems like more air than the stock injectors could cool. Don't melt it down!

Deatschworks 650cc are another option I've seen the supercharged Tundra guys using with good results.

I'm guessing the tune allows for the stock injectors cause it's never been a problem. AF has always sat around 14:5:1 and doesn't fluctuate too much at all.

It's now got 145k kms on the clock , 60k knms since the install and its been completely trouble free untill recently.
It seems to " surge" If I jump on it too hard so I'm guessing maybe one or multiple injectors is the culprit , along with their age.

I'll check out the Deatschworks 650cc injectors and see if I can track a set down.

Thanks for the advice 👌

I'm by no means an expert just re-writing advice I've picked up from others along the way.

You'll definitely want to get a tune when you get new injectors installed and I'd want to monitor the A/F ratio too. The ratio you mentioned is fine at idle and partial throttle, but most suggest to be in the 10.1-10.5 range when going WOT. Thats richer that most people would think you need to be at but, again from what I've gathered, the Toyota engines like things super rich to keep them cool and the rings happy.
