Sunroof wind noise

Hey everyone,

I've been noticing wind noise from the sunroof area at highway speeds (windshield is OEM). It seems that some people have been through this issue but there's no apparent solution. Has anyone successfully tackled it?

Old post but if you replace the weather stripping around the glass the wind noise will stop. I had the same issue, replaced the weather stripping and the noise is gone. Easy to do and takes less than 1.5 hours.

Just a note about this.. 200-series LX list a deal/gasket part number separate from the sunroof panel, but same-year LC's dont. They only show a complete assembly. I don't know the reason for the difference, possibly some bougie coating on the L-model panel. That's a total guess.

I've ordered a LX seal to put on my LC but it has been sitting on the shelf for at least a couple years waiting for me to "find time" to absolutely verify it fits.

Any issues with trim clips breaking or anything? Not wanting to break things over a job that isn't 100% necessary has definitely slowed me down on this one.

Follow this video, its a very easy job. The 2 trim pieces that have to be removed are super sturdy.

Hard to see the sunroofs (LC/LX) not being identical.
