Struts for Upper Rear Door (1 Viewer)

My 73 that comes home tomorrow is missing the struts for the upper read door. The correct replacement ones are fairly expensive and I'm not doing a full restoration so I'm wondering if any other hatchback type struts out there will work for my FJ at a lesser price?
