I'm buying this this week and was wondering is anyone could help figure out if it is stock or not. My thinking not. BUt looks like it will work.

My question is I'm sure it will cool just fine but I'm concerned about heating in the winter and especially the defrost. I'f this replaces the stock heater does this unit heat also. I always thought heat came from the heater coil even on A/c units. Somebody please school me.

Most definitely not stock. You need to replace the receiver/dryer and it looks like you are going to need new lines also since they were cut. That system looks pretty rough, I hope you got a good deal on it.

You need to retain the stock system for heat.

not stock, stock would be Nippon Denso.

It is the same kit that was installed on mine in '76. It will freeze your butt off. It keeps your stock heater and you lose most of the pass. leg room. It too nice on those balmy SE summers
