Steering shaft length on an '82 FJ40 with and w/o Power Steering

Is it correct that the steering shaft length on an '82 fj40 is the same whether it came with or without power steering? I'm trying to put together all of the OEM parts and I need to know if I need a new steering shaft as well.

Also, what about the bracket for the gear box? Is it the same for a PS gear box as well as the manual box? Or, are they different?

hi igot the same question if anybody could tell me. I have a 78 fj40 and need to do an oem ps set up. but need to know if i need to replace the steering shaft. are they the same length?
