On the highway, if I go over a bridge and the transitions are not the same/uneven, my LC becomes unstable, bordering on dangerous. Will something like a panhard correction bracket fix this, or might a bigger issue be at play?

I understand it’s discontinued; but still surprised there nothing(?) OEM on eBay except a used one

From the forum I have read it does not help much to prevent bugs or stones against the window and can cause wear points in the hood paint when applied. Obviously you may still want it for your specific reasons and likes.

Well with your profile picture I would guess its warm where you are but I just ask… is it cold where you are? Because if yes the AC just stays low/off till you reach 55C engine temp and then ramps up to (if needed) full blast at 60C at least at the diesel 200. I guess it should be kinda the same with the gasoline ones with maybe slightly different temps.

I'm in CA, when I posted, it was like 25-35C outside and 60+C inside. I think the engine shall get to 55C in moments.

Haha, totally agree it's not a must have; I also like it adds a bit of black to an otherwise white truck.

If the rest of your alignment checks out, and your current panhard rod is angled more than a few degrees at your new static ride height, yes it will help.

How much lift did you end up with in the rear?

Here’s my SQOD. Anyone know what this plug is for? I will check schematics later, but hoping someone has an idea. The gray connector with the yellow dot. This is off a 2010LX. The junction in the wiring harness has 4 splitoff looms. 2 for the rear two ignition coils, one for the fuel injector rail and then this one. This was right in the heat zone. My old harness just had a ball of melted plastic. Almost like it maybe only had a cover on it. I don’t see anywhere in range of this connector where there could be a sensor, but I’m assuming I’m not going to be that lucky.

Noise filters for the ignition system. Should be one on each cylinder bank.

Edit: these were tough to find in the diagrams, turns out they are with the radio/stereo stuff.. which I guess makes sense. 90980-04177 should work with all years of US 200-series.

You guys are the best. I guess it’s a place for noise to go and die, since it only has one wire. The one I smashed apart just had what looked like a tiny roll of foil in it.

It dead ends on a sensor or something hung off a bracket on that open mounting point. I'll have to look it up for you later, but here's what it looks like.

Yes, a panhard correction bracket should go a ways to helping. What it is solving is rear axle toe steer as the suspension cycles.

Tell us more details of your specific build. What suspension? What tires? Wheel offset? I ask as there's more contributors. Some on the front axle too.

If you have adjustable shocks, increasing damping can help. Yes, it won't ride as smooth, but everything is a trade.

The rest of it looks pretty good. Sounds like it's just an aggressive lift causing most of the toe steer. The panhard will help the rear end. Front toe steer is still a concern with aggressive lifts and I'm assuming you're at something like 3" lift in front? If you were to even bring it down even .5", that should help. More caster may be able to help to a degree and not sure if you have UCAs? But that might create tighter fitment against the front body mount. You might try a bit more toe-in with alignment. Stiffening up the shocks as mentioned earlier will also help reduce suspension cycling, reducing toe steer.

Having had a previous parasitic drain, I about lost it when I got back from a 10day vacation and my truck wouldn't unlock by just grabbing the tailgate release. After unleashing a tirade of expletives, I remembered my 911 shuts most (if not all) sensors after several days of being locked/alarmed to conserve battery power. Grabbed my FOB and sure enough, my 200 unlocked and turned over with no issues. So...how many days does it take for the 200's to shut the proximity sensors off? Just curious, as I'm sure I won't forget to use the FOB after it sitting for a week, but inquiring minds want to know.

Have a stupid question, just like most my questions- is the button to turn on the dome light, and the 2 spot buttons that flank it, not illuminated? Or is the backlight in my rig busted? It makes no sense that the buttons designed for providing light when it's too dark to see are themselves not illuminated...

I assume you have an LC? I believe these are only illuminated on the LX.

Yeah sorry I should have mentioned I have an LC. Mind boggling of all the buttons to not be illuminated they chose the one that illuminates things haha
