Googling that number brings up: Toyota 45516-05060 (4551605060) BUSH, STEERING RACK HOUSING, NO.1 - https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/4551605060. It may be from someone else's rack replacement.I found this in my driver's side skidplate (2010 LX) when I was changing my oil. It's rubber, but fairly heavy and dense like it has metal inside it.
Does anyone recognize this? It seems robust enough that I would notice it if something was missing. I had my steering rack replaced over a year ago.

That exact number doesn't come up in toyota's system.. but definitely a steering rack bushing.. probably from when you had it changed. That rubber part looks way older than a year old. I would assume it’s from the old rack based upon that fact alone.Thanks #nothinghead and #bloc. That certainly looks like the part. I checked my records and the steering rack was replaced almost exactly one year ago. I've removed the skid plate three times since then to change my oil and it was not there before.
Is it (reasonably?) safe to assume that it is not from my current steering rack? It drives and handles just fine. It seems that I would definitely notice if a bushing that size was missing. I looked at some of the parts diagrams and am not sure where to even look.
Woke up to several inches of wet/heavy snow this morning. Given the same tires and vehicle condition, which vehicle would be better to drive into town (not offroad, but some highway and town). LX470 or LX570?

Same tires, KO2. I know they are not the best snow tires, but I live in the Southwest so it's usually not a problem. I'm opting for the 570 because it seems heavier and is probably safer.Which ever has the better winter tires.
The 2016+ has parking sensors on the front and Toyota parking assist.So is that to say there is no sensor for directly in front?
IMO, I think most shops will do a single stage paint correction in your case prior to film application. Or maybe they won't. Best I can tell, it's a better foundation to attach film if the paint/clear is clean and as uniform as possible. It CAN be put over whatever you've got, but that doesn't mean you will like what it looks like when it's done.Heres my SQOD, I know pretty much nothing about paint and wrap jobs. MY question is this, does the paint have to be prepped before doing a wrap? I dont have any dents so technically a wrap could go right over my scratched paint right?

Well with your profile picture I would guess its warm where you are but I just ask… is it cold where you are? Because if yes the AC just stays low/off till you reach 55C engine temp and then ramps up to (if needed) full blast at 60C at least at the diesel 200. I guess it should be kinda the same with the gasoline ones with maybe slightly different temps.I have my AC set to auto, but the AC is not having that initial blast upon entry unlike my other cars. Is this normal?
Climate Concierge on and off doesn’t seem to make a difference. I can easily increase the fan speed manually and it’s cool so I don’t think there is an AC problem.
