I get you, I really think my issue is with water coming into some electrical components from the underside. Last time I had this issue in September I pulled off my roof rack, zero signs of water intrusion there. I also checked my sun roof drains, they work just fine. I silicone a possible intrusion location @ the snorkel A pillar, but idk. I will figure it out sooner or later.
Looks like you are missing knobs. These worked on my 2011 and look exactly the same as the OEM knobs. Took about 2 weeks to come in.

Right on thanks! Ugg just noticed they were missing again, my two todders are wreaking havoc on the 200. This will be my second time replacing them lol

Kids, man. My daughter (6yo) manages to step perfectly on the only part of the rear floor not covered by a mat every time she gets in/out of the vehicle. It's maddening.

For those that go to lcdc meets and off road do you typically bring back up axles?
I started carrying an axle on trips. It is a bulky part, but if it saves the trip for me or someone else, it will be well worth it.

In a more perfect world, multiple vehicles in the convoy would be the same make/model and you could distribute spares and tools around so not everyone needs everything. As it is, for big trips, I carry all of the spares and tools that I think will get me off the trail in a pinch. Even though I've never had axle issues, I've seen lots of them blow out on trail (usually 4Runners) and on online content (like 4WD 24/7) that I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

Makes sense. I think eventually I’ll start carrying a backup just in case.

Probably obvious, but I also carry the other pieces and tools I'd need to do the job. I carry an extra axle nut, cap, cotter pin, inner CV circlip, 39mm 12 point socket (for axle nut), 22mm six point socket (for lower ball joint bolts), diagonal cutters, ball peen hammer, and inner CV prying tools.

Also probably not a surprise to anyone, but it was to me the first time I helped someone swap a 4Runner axle on trail: the Land Cruiser uses beefier components, so the sockets your buddy needs for his 4Runner aren't likely to work on your rig. For example the 4Runner axle nut is like 35 or 36mm where the LC200 is 39mm.

Also, tip: my spare axle fits nicely in the gap between the second row seat and my cargo boxes when I run with a second row seat in.

That’s a lot of tools to bring with you. I’m thinking you probably bring electric impact driver with u as well?

Sometimes, but not always. I probalby should...

That's only a small fraction of the tools I carry on trail. I believe in being self sufficient. Carrying an axle without the tools to replace it, doesn't make any sense to me, unless you know someone else is carrying all the tools you need. I almost saw one axle replacement not happen because they didn't have a good prying tool to separate the inner axle from the differential. Luckily we were able to improvise with a different prying tool.

Wow, had no idea it was moved there nor did I even know that part of the forum existed. Thx

Why couldn’t it just stay in the 200 section!
It got moved to some obscure backwater forum that none of us ever go to, and a lot of us (like me) haven't even heard of. Yay! A lot of good that is going to do for the other 200 people I interact with every day that I was trying to help by posting deals. Grrr.

Yeah I didn't realized it was moved either until @Gr8Daneger mentioned it. Been getting notifications since I found it from the 200 section awhile back.

I'd never heard of these guys before, but just used your link to order 12 of their straps. The loop end version is brilliant, and solves the issue I have with a lof of my current straps (hook or flat end). Thanks for the tip!

Just the color that’s all! I have the looped end ones and in grey and they are awesome!
I have a bunch of cam straps for rafting, and I like the roller ones. These guys must be licensing their patent or something, since Cascade has the same ones. These guys have pretty good prices though! I do like loop straps for a lot of applications, and my bag of "rafting" straps lives in the back of my rig for pretty much everything.
