A few months ago while driving (2008 LC) I received the "Check Tire Pressure System" warning. Manually checked pressures, which were all fine. Message went away, then returned, then went away. I took it to the dealership and they told me "your tire pressure was low. It's fine."
Then last week warning returned. Manually checked pressures were normal. Warning spontaneously disappeared again. Is this likely a bad sensor or sensors, or is there another known problem that could do this? Time to replace all 5 sensors? Thanks.

This happened on my 08LX - one of the TPMS sensors had gone bad after 10 years.

Does anybody have a front passenger side mudflap that they would like to part with?
I have a 2011.

It pains me to ask this. Mostly because I fear the answer is either blatantly obvious or explained somewhere that I haven't discovered.

Either way, this would be the thread for it, so here goes...

How did the site come to be called IH8MUD? (Seems to be plenty of mudders on here)

Well, I hate mud and try to avoid at all costs. Such a pain to clean off. So, I’m one of those Ih8mudders. 😎🤣

I read it on here once, but no idea where. There is a description on Facebook - look here under the "about" section

I don't have Facebook, but was at least able to view your link, thanks. I've always wondered, and that explains it!

The site deserves it's own Wikipedia page. So much historic and noteworthy content across all the Toyota forums.

Found an ARB twin air compressor, 24v. Is 24v going to be an issue or anything weird?
For sake of not adding complexity to this system, I would highly recommend going with a 12v version.

Here's a history thread.....

Fascinating. I remember seeing the name on the early generation Specter site in the late 90's when sourcing fj parts. Never knew the history. Thanks!

A dude in Hyde Park, NY. It looks like he got it and is in the same position. Glad I asked before I got stoked and bought it
Look like arb expects 12v bats in series. Interesting all the relay is still 12v.

I have all kinds of dumb questions. I will be buying within the next few weeks if the right one shows up.

1) On the 2016+ LX with the 21" wheels, are all 5 wheels the same or is the spare different in some way to the other 4?

2) What are the options for drawers with a sleeping platform to unhinge over the second row? I saw the Air Up Gear Down solution, but are there any others besides DIY?

3) On 2016+ LX vehicles, is a paid Enform subscription required for FOB remote start? If so, is there any easy way around it. I don't care about remote start from my phone.

Thank you.

How do you replace the rear wiper blade?

It must be a sign of early senility, since I've done it before but right now I'm baffled. :meh:
