Not really a big deal.@TheGrrrrr ^^^^ This, otherwise you would need a 12mm wrench/socket for OEM bolts, and 13mm to loosen/tighten the newly sourced bolts/nuts, etc.

Overland Metric does that. They sell kits for specific areas and what not for older toyotasThanks for that detail. I'm seriously considering buying in bulk and selling packages for all the various Yota 4x4 platforms. Gotta be a market for a platform specific nuts/bolts/washers kit for off-roading.
SQOD
I purchased a 2011 lx about 3 weeks ago. Dealer did fluids/oil change before I bought it. Oil service light came on last week at about 5k. Truck is at +6k from purchase now. Should I change the oil already? It still looks clean, and it’s only been a couple weeks. What is a reasonable mileage number for regular changes, 5k seems very low. I’m also considering changing to Mobil one extended for the next change. Pros/cons?
Final sqod for today. Truck had new tires, but with 6k on them already I’m wondering at what mileage should I rotate?
I never thought much about the the info display that shows the position of the front wheels. But now that it has stopped appearing, its bugging me. Anyone know how to make it appear ? 2015 LC btw.
Thanks for your replies!View attachment 2442594

Nice, I'll use that for my calcs..get ready for this.....
You'll be able to run up to 305/70/18s on those wheels. The LX is amazing at eating up big tires.
Its also related to parking assist sensors being on. Somehow I had bumped the button and turned off the parking assist. Once that was back on, the tire angle display came back, either by selecting with the Disp button, or by just getting close enuf to something for the parking sensors to kick in.on a '15LX, you keep pressing the disp button on the steering wheel until it comes back....?
You access them through the wheel wells. After removing a couple screws holding the fender liners, you can reach up in there and access the bulbs.08' LX 570.
I want to change to front turn signal lights to LEDs.
I don't see a way to access the bulb. Do I have to remove the entire headlight housing to access it?

Did you have to remove the wheel to make room to remove the fender liner? Thanks! You access them through the wheel wells. After removing a couple screws holding the fender liners, you can reach up in there and access the bulbs.
What's everyone's favorite conditioner for the early-run LC seats? My '11's interior (grey) is in great condition, and I'd like to keep it that way. I don't want any re-coloring or color restoration - just a recommendation on a conditioner others have had good experiences with.
I'm a big fan of Leather Honey. However, I don't know if it's the best choice for the seats, since I haven't found a definitive answer yet on whether the LC seats are actually genuine leather or not.
Good question. I don't really remember whether I removed the wheels or not. I may have but you could probably turn the wheel in all the way and that should give you enough room to work. There's actually instructions in the owner's manual about how to change those bulbs. You may want to check there for more information.Did you have to remove the wheel to make room to remove the fender liner? Thanks!
