Another stupid question for you guys as I continue settling into my '11 LC.

When I let off the gas at low-ish speeds (15-40 or so) I feel a slight forward momentum shift that feels almost like the truck is engaging subtle engine braking. Is this normal or should I do some investigating to figure out what's up? It had a transmission flush around 25k ago and I just replaced all four corners' rotors and pads with Toyota OEM. All four calipers were smooth and moved freely during the install, so I'd be surprised if it's a sticking caliper.

Normal. There's a fancy name for it, might be in the Owner's Manual.

Thanks! I tried searching through the manual (online PDF makes that way easier than flipping physical pages, haha) for various terms like "brake assist," "engine braking," etc. but didn't find anything conclusive. My former 4.7L 4Runner did a similar, but more pronounced engine-brake if I tapped the brakes on even a slightest downhill angle, but it didn't have any momentum shift after simply releasing the gas pedal.

So when I park the AHC adjusts and lowers automatically.

I had a recent AHC flush but I get consistent squeaking noise as the SUV lowers (this occurred before and after our AHC flush). Is this normal?

Am I alone in thinking this thread should be sticky? I think over time this has become my favorite and most valued thread. I frequently see questions I feel like I could answer (and sometimes do if no-one else has) and even more frequently I see questions answered that were useful to me. I think its a great thread to contribute to and is full of good information worthy of being up top. Is there a nomination process? I don't want to overstep in my advocacy. Happy to leave well enough alone.

I hoping to buy some Tundra wheels/tires soon for my 2010 LX570 and was wondering if four of them (with stock Michelin tires) would fit in the back of my truck with the third seats removed and the middle seats folded.

If so, would I lay them flat or upright. Pics if you got em.
Thanks

Yes. I transported four tundra takeoff rim/wheels in my 200 that way. As I recall, two were stacked flat, one was leaning, one was more vertical. I used heavy moving blankets to prevent rolling, pad the interior and protect the glass from damage.

I swore I took a pic, but cant find it. I bought 5x BFG AT 285/75/17 (33" tire.)

I moved my pass seat a little up and folded my middle seats down. I fit 5 tires no prob

I drew it out on a scratch piece of paper. Arrow points to front of LC. Driver seat (DS) and Passenger seat (PS)

My turn! Its only been a month, but I'm still getting familiar with my LC. I did quick search and didn't see anything related. Is there a trip meter/ button in my 2013 LC? I know how to cycle through the dash display to show the miles, but not "trips A or B" like every other vehicle I have ever had.

Engine air filter question - Toyota/Lexus OEM engine air filter is out of stock at the moment...anyone have opinions regarding Denso or Fram Xtra Guard as OEM replacement? Wondering if similar quality material as Toyota OEM.

Denso is OEM.

OOS where - nationally?

Nope, just out of stock on Amazon today. The last one I bought was Lexus, but can’t find either right now. It will probably be back in stock 10 min after I order the Denso or Fram...

Suggest local or online dealer only. Amazon/eBay is full of counterfeit “genuine” parts.
