Yeah it only happens when I open the door, and when I'm wearing my Carhartt coat.

I'm convinced that a 35x12.5R20 could fit rather easily on an LX570 with a .75" spacer and minor trimming. I would do this if I didn't tow such a heavy trailer, or were willing to go through the trouble to re-gear.

I'm getting ready to test your theory @TeCKis300. I've got some bora 3/4" spacers on order. I'm planning on going with Nitto Terra Grapplers instead of the Falkens. It looks like they have the same specs. I'm a little nervous however, after reading @linuxgod's thread about trying to fit 34's.

@supercarrera LX doesn't have the KDSS bar to deal with unlike the LC. Linuxgod has an LC - If the KDSS relocation bracket was used there wouldn't have been a fitment issue. Merely some obvious wheel well plastic trimming on the fender liner and front mud flap removal. Tire side wall profile plays its role as each brand has different side wall profiles. Nitto are blocky and don't pooch out as much therefore that's the brand with success when running 35's. What you may run into is rubbing on the driver side body mount when in reverse due to spacing your wheel out further. I personally thing that body mount protrudes a bit much anyhow. good luck

Awesome thanks for clearing that up. I feel much better about proceeding now. :)

I put 275/65/20 KO2s (34.1" according to BFG) on my stock LX, and the only place it rubbed was the rear mud flap on the front axle. After I unbolted it, no more rubbing. Fitting 34s on the LX is definitely easier than the LC.

Awesome!! I really think it's going to work just fine. I'm on 33.2" tires with mudflaps still in place. And just a minor tweak to the forward liners. With more effort, more clearance can definitely be had!

Which NTG size are you specifically going for?

Very interested in your results. And thank you for breaking new ground!

35x12.5x20

The specs are very similar the the Falken ATW3's in the same size: 34.53" diameter, 12.52" width. The Falkens look nice too. If I wasn't a big fan of Terra Grapplers, I'd probably go for those.

34.53" - 33.2" = 1.33 / 2 = .665" larger in radius. Or just over 5/8ths of an inch more clearance all around the fit the tire.

Terra Grapplers are a fine choice! I had them on my previous rig and they had great manners on and off-road.

How heavy is everyone's truck? I'm curious how heavy these things can get. Day to day, fully loaded on the road I'm over 7500lbs. A few more accessories would be pushing 8k lbs

For the umpteenth time ...

Might be worth a review of Australian posts on spring replacements. My reading suggests they must get upgraded springs to pass their vehicle registration process. I am assuming their process results in a safe load carrying capacity. I have no reason to make that assumption other than governments usually err on a conservative side.

The GVWR is not the same for all year models. 09 is less than 12. Not that it matters.

There is no 2012 model year LC200 ... not that it matters. :D

Anyway, who else is overweight +7400
Seems like you get overweight quickly with armor and gear. Anyone encounter problems running so heavy?
