Do any of you 200 owners have a "remote start" feature on your vehicle. I would like to have it if it is possible.

It came with my LX. It's ok. Range is not great and the engine kills when you open the door. Otherwise, it is an OK feature.

I have the factory remote start on my 2013. It works fine for my purpose -- my LC sits in the driveway and I can start it while in the house. Here in Boston in January, that was very welcome.

I don't have one on my 2011, but have considered adding a factory option via my local dealer. Parts quoted around $450 and labor around $350, so $800-$900 all-in to go that route. Plenty of other posts somewhere here on pros/cons of using factory vs. after market options, as well as opinions on the door-open-turnoff engine 'feature'.

Finally I get to post a SWOD:
Lately I am finding my audio system turned off when I get into my car AND I can't turn it back on. I have to reset it by turning off the engine and restarting. Confused.

I wonder if there is a fix for this issue?

Ok, another sqod. When I park, I often fold in the mirror by mashing the convenient button. Then, when backing out, sometimes I remember to return the mirrors, sometimes I drive a few hundred feet first (oops). But, when backing out, sometimes the mirrors tilt down, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they tilt while folded up, sometimes they don't tilt when untucked. I realize they should tilt to assist with backing up, but the inconsistent behavior has me worried I might have a bad sensor/motor/gizmo that I should be worried about (I don't "need" the mirrors to tilt when backing up). Anyone ever have any troubles with the side mirrors not working properly? No obstructions, no ice up - just unpredictable behaviour.

If you do not want your mirrors to tilt when backing up:
move the mirror position selector switch (not sure what else to name it) in the middle spot

Thanks!

This puzzled me for a few. It doesn't tilt down as far as I liked but I forgot how I stopped it from happening.

Wow, that was it - perfect, thanks! When the mirror adjuster switch is either L or R, the mirrors will tilt down when backing up. When the selector switch is centered, no tilt. And, this happens whether the mirrors are folded in or in the normal position. Thanks for solving the mystery!

no problem - that's what I do

They should have had a automatic mirror closing function everytime you park your vehicle instead having to push the button everytime like on the LX and most higher end cars in LC price range. Not sure why they didn't add this a few years ago. Also, why did they put the fuel opener right next to the front hood opener. At least have the fuel switch glow or something to not mistakingly open your engine bay. Another annoyance is where they placed the heated steering wheel button. Really stupid placement. Should be on the "steering wheel".

If you are going to gripe about button placement... and yes I AM! I hate the fact that they located buttons behind the steering wheel where I can never see them unless I get my head down and around the wheel! I never remember what the heck is back there!

I've popped the hood more than once going for the fuel door:) I agree with ya on the heated steering wheel button, and for that matter all of the buttons down there. Check out the 2016, they fixed all of them by relocating them in the center of the rig by the shifter, way better! Only wished they had fixed it sooner:bang:

It must be a USDM/stupid America law thing much like the fact that we can't have laser headlights or auto/adaptive high beams in America. A lot of cars have the auto fold feature from the factory in Europe and Asia. I programmed it back into my BMW M4's DME.

the less items with moving motors on your every day car the less your wallet will be hit. how pampered do you really want to be - its s truck guys
