Spotted this clean, lifted 40th Edition 80 on 66W near Bull Run this evening.

Nice ride but those LED bulbs in the stock housing a obnoxiously distracting

Yup. I think Pavel just sold that one here in DC. I was planning to take a look and test drive it last week. Was listed for $17k.

That might be it but the one I saw had Virgina plates and didn't have that sticker on the rear crossmember. Maybe it's just the camera angle but it appears to have a taller lift than this one

Yeah hard to tell. Buyer could have slapped a virginia plate on and pulled off the sticker. Looks like the center caps are removed on both pics. The world may never know…

A 40th without the rack and deflector is kinda rare.

Missing center caps and lift pushes it over the top as a match, IMO.

That was a pretty good deal. D light worked and everything! :hillbilly:
Overall I don’t think it was a great deal for 200k miles and no factory lockers- but I really don’t know what is normal these days. It seemed like it wouldn’t bankrupt me to get it- but $10k and under is still way more comfortable. What do you think a “normal” price would be in this market?

Edit: adding this chart from the mud classified section

No rust is the key if indeed there was no rust. If you're not going to wheel it then lockers are irrelevant. If you want to wheel it the non-locked axles are arguably better when you add after market lockers. I think
$17k was fair for this market for that truck, not setting it on person.

Thanks @iptman Sounds reasonable but to throw a wrench in this… I think it had a salvaged title “due to a theft recovery ”… that didn’t worry me much for ownership but I suppose could make it a bit more difficult to sell in the future.

Triple 100's at the Teeter in Purcellville. The LX had MD plates. I'm the one on the right.
