Hard to believe how rare the Isuzu Trooper has become. These used to be everywhere when I was in high school and now I can't remember the last time I saw one:

Even more rare is this 1989 Trooper RS two door. Only 800 ever sold in the US. This one is unfortunately an automatic but would be a fun trail truck either way. Surprised to find this one in DC.

Best color too.

Isuzu troopers are straight up monsters in the snow. I drove one up to Truro Nova Scotia in feb 1989 to pick up my cousin after the fishing boat he was on was burned up at the docks and he had no plan “B” for work, living or a way to get back home. Drive up and arrived as a nor easter was making landfall and they were calling for several feet of snow. We were there just long enough for him to go get a oil filter and oil and we changed the oil in the parking lot and started south we drove for 150 km’s before it started snowing and we drove in 4wd for over 20 hrs through snow 2 ft deep until we got to just above Concord NH.
That thing never missed a beat.

I appreciate the time it took to make that. And it looks like there is plenty of room for activities. But damn, that thing is pretty ugly.

Nugent Edition a Factory option?

I did not know these were a thing. Gold Tip does make nugent edition carbon arrows done up like this, but never seen a ford...

At OBX this week and this Expedition got stuck in the sand. It was a rental and the guy thought it was 4wd, but turns out it wasn’t. Quick pull to some harder sand and he was on his way back to the pavement!

Funny enough, he had made it a good 3-4 miles onto the beach in 2wd. Not sure how he did that!

Step out my front door and my neighbor who normally drives a particularly boring Nissan something pulls up in this Vette. He’s like oh I also have this car… my jaw dropped pretty good. Then a trailer pulls up to ship it to his apartment in Paris, France. Dude comes off a little more baller at this point.
