From my weekend in Nashville for the Indy races...loved the TransAm series with the V8 muscle and then the Indy cars for just ridiculous speed & handling, but the most fun race to watch of the weekend (and last race overall on Sunday) was the Toyota sponsored GR "Gazoo Racing" series...amateur drivers in spec cars...those guys were really putting it all on the line and bumping and grinding the whole way around the 2.2 mile track.

It used to be not even unusual to see cars with giant rims - Caprices were popular for that at the time - flopped on their side in mid-right-turn, especially over uneven ground like leaving a parking lot. The greatest part of to to me was seeing them flopped leaving the tire/wheel place by my old work (it had an incline up to the street and a very bumpy drop into the street). Couldn't even make it out of the business!
