All kidding aside, this stuff happens. I'm glad you got it solved and are on a good path. That's a great looking rig!

Sidebar: If I am ever wrenching and a buddy is over my brain can't handle talking and detail wrenching work. "Did I put the old crush washer in or the new one?"

Lol seriously one of the most

For sure @medtro but it could be more like "let's not touch things without proper knowledge" and "how to leave sh*t alone" Lol

I'm just kidding to OP. Always gain the knowledge before you actually do it to to gain the experience.
Well like the orginal post said, I should not of assumed anything. I’m old enough to know that by now.

We all do dumb stuff. First time I ever did a brake job was my 1986 4Runner with manual hubs which made it more difficult that a Corolla, but when I was done and took it for a test drive it made this grinding sound. I got it bled enough to get me enough stopping power to get me to the shop down the road for a full bleed and they were like dude, you put this pad on backwards. Doh.

All fixed up, I think. It's a very sweet-looking LX!

A shop where I live changed the wrong side of the brakes I needed to pass inspection on a 94 Toyota pickup, and they broke the bleeder valve on the other side, which neither they knew nor I, until me and my friend disassembled everything and found the broken valve. The shop did write me a check for the work though since they literally changed the wrong brake.

Often when air tube removed, getting at BK2 spark plugs/coils. The vacuum line from idle up control is not re-connected, which engine then runs badly.

Risk of over filling oil, is hydro lock. But we've seen over-filled oil a few times, with no "reported" long term issues.

Whomever tops transmission. Make sure Toyota WS ATF used. Also level set at ATF #1 temp (Toyota lowered) 97f-115f, for setting level/topping.

Thanks that’s exactly what we did once a local ih8mud member came and saved the day. We used WF, then we drove at low speed (25 mph) for about 2 mi to get it up to temperature.
