How often should spark plugs be changed? And which ones are the best performers or should I get Toyota OEM?

You don't mention what vintage your truck is so I'll generalize.

Older LC 2UZs that I've seen call out iridium plugs...there's a sticker on the DS valve cover instructing as much. I've run NGK iridiums and had no glitches. As for how often? Iridium is tough. I'd expect to swap them with your timing belt.

What @Zjohnsonua stated. And would advise against an Amazon order for your plugs- chances are they are counterfeit and arrived from China. Source from your local auto store and ensure they are really made in Japan, otherwise you will get fake iridium tips.

OEM iridium spark plugs are supposed to be replaced on a 120k mile service interval as specified by Toyota Scheduled Maintenance Guide.

Doing the plugs with timing belt changes seems to be the best process for me as I like to disassemble everything and knock it out then.

I pull coils and tighten my plugs with my 1/4" torque wrench every 30k service (when I do wheel bearings, diff fluids, etc.)

Denso iridium power ik20 is 30k interval

Denso iridium long life sk20r11 is 90k interval

Don't get fooled like and pick the wrong iridium

Not sure if ngk has multiple iridium version or not
