Greg will you please take a picture of your truck now with the Slee bumper and the thin spare tucked in there?

wngrog said:I read that thread and was scared off because it was a split rim and needed a tube.
I will try the 235/85/16 on my stock rim. Not optimal, but it will be fine.
I would love one of those 105 wheels next time you send a load of stuff to Chirsto![]()
Greg B said:Next, you must create some 1 ½ inch spacers.
wngrog said:Why 1.5" ? I crawled under mine and measured today and it looks like it can be raised 3" total.
LandCruiserPhil said:It looks to me that if you raise it up more then 1.5" you will need to cut the crank rod and add a universal to get the crank rod into the winch socket.

Greg B said:At the time I did mine, there were two reasons.
1) I decided to use the front and rear bars that you are considering tossing. If you keep these bars, they allow 1.5" of adjustment. So, it didn't matter if I took the winch mount any higher.
2) LandCruiserPhil hit it on the head. You can't get to the winch mouth to insert the crank rod.
Let me know if you figure out a way to use the whole 3 inches. The higher we can get it, the better.
wngrog said:Did you do 1.5" ??
LEXUSBEN said:Well the spare tire mod seemed to work yesterday. There were many places that it would have hit but didn't. 100 did awsome. Need to find some $ in the budget for that slee bumper. Used the sh** out of the sliders. No body damage and made it over/through all of the obstacles on this trail. Can't wait for CM.
