1992 Toyota Land Cruiser – Atlantic Blue – LHD 1HDT Turbo Diesel – 115k Miles – $33,992 OBO
Left-hand drive, 1HDT turbo diesel. Solid factory-black frame with NO rust. She was imported by a friend of ours in 2021, and we chased her relentlessly until he finally agreed to sell her to us in 2023.
Of the 12+ Land Cruisers I’ve owned, this one has been both the biggest project and the most fun.
She also gets the best fuel economy of any Cruiser I’ve owned: 23–24 mpg in the city and 26–28 mpg on the highway, which is wild considering the lift, wheels, and tires. I’ve never been happier pulling up to the pump.
She’s not showroom perfect, but she’s rugged, reliable, and built for real adventure. We can’t drive her anywhere without turning heads or getting stopped at a gas station, trailhead, or campsite. She’s the bell of the campground and a genuine conversation starter.
She was my wife’s daily driver, but we’ve moved on to a truck + camper setup, so it’s time for her next chapter with someone who’ll keep the adventures going.
