Awesome trip! Thanks for sharing!

Izzy, I need to go with at some point for one of this trips. I'll bring my camera and @JohnVee, will bring his finest words, and we'll do a story. Sorry John, I'm drafting you.

Sure! Can be done again as now I know the route. We can discuss offline as to the timeline and intent of these to make sure it is what you gents expects, as my traveling style will be considered by many, well, weird. GA Traverse is another cool trip.

Hmmm, might not be a bad idea.

Looks like a sweet adventure. Thanks for sharing.

Wow flash back to my former life in Sugar Grove. The second picture in the second post titled trucks made my head spin. Those trucks have been sitting there for years. I used to live at the bottom of the "hill" about 2.9 away. Nasty little house but great creek access. I don't miss it one bit! :)

Really interesting trip though. I might be interested in doing it myself one day soon, minus the laurel creek rd portion.

Ran part of this today

This looks like a fun trip.

Izzy,
Do you know if this route can be done in the winter?

This might be a nice trip during MLK weekend in January

I don't think why not. I can't recall any seasonal gates, besides being a little wetter on Hogback should work. I would test the water holes on that road before driving through, they where deep and a day of winching could be a pain. Let me know if you want the gpx maps, email me at izzyandsue@yahoo.com and I can send from Gaia App.

Yeah yeah yeah. A certified trainer would have tested the waters :grinpimp:

Apply 5lbs boost. Problem solved
Now if only i could boost window motors

Actually, I did get stuck on one of the last ones. Looked more "solid", but it was a soup, deep.... nasty mud hole. got pulled back with kinetic line
