Subscribing. Sounds like it will be an 80 and down event! Props, for not making it a single vehicle type event. That trend has bothered me. The second half of August sounds good. I'd likely make it a 2 week trip to Colorado with this in the middle. I hope this gets some traction.

Awesome! I feel the same way which is the drive behind putting something like this together. It will probably shape up to be an 80 series and below event, but like I said in the original post if you roll with a SAS late or early model Toyota then join along!

And in regards to traction, I'm going for sure along with a few others, so it's all about setting a date that works well with the masses and then it's up to you to join!

Awesome. I gotta work on my Sienna. Not kidding, I really have one! And I have a spare 60 front axle, hmmmm.....

Nothing a man with ambition & a welder can't accomplish. Seriously though, if room weren't an issue, a v8 swapped sienna on tons would be incredible. Keep the headrest TVs though...:hillbilly:

Cimarron, that is genius! I might have to get some friends in Pinedale, Wyoming to send me a 6 Pack of the Wind River Brewing Blonde Ale.. Best beer that i've ever enjoyed. Maybe it was because I was in the woods backpacking for 5 days before I had my first one:)
We can cover wind river beer for you. It's distributed here in Denver. Good stuff indeed.

I got wife approval for next year. She has gone with me before and loves the area so it was fairly easy. Now just need to figure out which vehicle to take. 80 or BJ40. 40 would be trailered.

Awesome, either would be great, or tow the 40 with the 80!

That's what the wife said. The Cummins would pull it fine but the rest of the truck isn't set up for towing.

I'm down as long as the date works. The earlier in August the better for me, but will sub to the thread for updates! The beer thing sounds cool. I can bring a boatload of good craft from So. Cal!

Awesome! The date probably won't be set till mid spring when the other events say when they are going to be there, so just stay tuned!

SubScribd. I can see myself finally getting the Hardtop back on with my rtt on top of that! :steer:

Right on! Would love to get more 40s out there, spread the word!

I like the beer swap idea, would be really cool to have stuff from all over the U.S.! The neighborhood I just started working in in San Francisco has four or five breweries within walking distance of the building we're in, so I could definitely bring something special if I end up being able to make it out.

Subscribed, great idea, fantastic area. Spent three days in the San Juans when my '81 Toyota 4x4 pickup was new and haven't been since. Ran the Denver - CruiserFest last year and had a great time, amazing scenery. Likely I can find some special brew with the piles of micro brewery's in the Portland area.
