Started packing today. We are leaving Friday 7/28 & staying a few xtra days, so a lot to pack. Tent camping except for the 2 day drive both ways.

Still a lot to pack…but you got to start somewhere eh??

I have a zillion (Google conversion- 35) pages to catch up on but the big thing is I am making it to SAS! There was a big stretch there where I knew there was no way I could do it but kept hoping.
The downside is no solid axle vintage truck. That is where my heart is but Jess and I are driving the 200 so we can haul a rust free body for my 40 back from Classic Cruisers on the way home.
Upside is there is no way in hell I am not arriving without a Bowfin rack on the 200 so after 2 years of promising it will finally be available
Final prototype stuff going on now.

Chachi might break over 200,000 miles on this trip!

We want to see that baby hit some trails!👍

How is cell coverage at the KOA? I have Verizon. Chris has AT&T I believe.
I'm AT&T and it's always been pretty stable unless you're trying to use/move big chunks of data. It does slow down when camp is full and usage is high, but I've never had "no service."

It came from CO and has done the whole San Juan superfecta plus Moab but not with me in it. It is very much like an 80- kinda feel like you are cheating. My 60 gives Oh sh*t feedback!

Ain‘t that the truth. Sometimes way too much feedback.

Still, blowing crazy smoke while almost stalling out Chunk, climbing over a big rock on Mineral Creek last year, trying not to go over the side was as much fun as I have ever had!

Sweet looking rig, man. Nice rack! I'd have one on mine if it would still fit in the garage.

LOL. Excited to see you again my friend!

@Broski Have made the decision to switch from Gaia to OnX also. Curious which of their packages do you suggest:

A) $35/yr for their Premium
B) $99/yr for their Elite
I went with A) premium and find it to be sufficient to navigate, you do miss out on some of the features like sharing trails and adding different colors for trails to name a few.
But I'm technologically challenged and a cheap ass 😂

Do you just have it on a phone? Or something more technological?

I’ve been using paper maps every time I’ve been there. Lol

I use a Galaxy tab 8 = old
powered on a mount, you can run it all day and see it better ;)
Haven't used it at SAS but is mandatory in places like sand hollow, just got onX before Cruise Moab this year where I was doing trail leader duty and didn't want to get a large group lost where just getting turned around with a group is a chore.
I do plan to use it this year at SAS
