Just put a stick between your power seat and the acelerator pedal. Power seat forward accel , power back coast. Should at least get you across texas. It does not work that good in the mountains.
Risky business with an 80 power seat!

Haven't had it since I did LS swap, didn't use it before either, but long drives in daily driver ('15 f450~ no cruise either) causes sciatic nerve issues, but can avoid by swapping to left foot every so often. Not enough room for that trick in the 80. HahaCan’t remember the last time I have used it. I don’t have it anymore in the 80 and never think about it when driving the wifes 4Runner. I now some people use their had throttle but that seems a bit sketchy.
Who was it who came with the lifted 80 or maybe it was a 100 with a solid front axle and a LS motor in it? They owned a fab shop I believe.
