Hello,

I bought this FJ40 in 2017. The 40 was on a Lake Nacimiento property and had not been registered since 85. I took it up to Oregon for a while and it's now back in CA. See below for work done, price and pics.

1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
Manufactured Sept 1971
Model: FJ40L
Price: $21,000

Rebuilt knuckles
Rebuilt transfer case
Replaced all brake cylinders (can't remember if I rebuilt some of them, pretty sure I replaced all)
Replaced gas tank

Extra parts:
Original driver seat and passenger bench seat
Roll bar
New OEM front right fender
Hard doors
Soft door restoration kit
Soft door material from SOR that matches the soft top

Known Issues:
Engine runs well but does have low oil pressure at idle
Drip from transfer case, will see if I can fix
Speedometer does not work

Nice looking FST!
What mounting solution did you use to run the buckets?

Forgot about some painting that was needed. The firewall needed paint because leaking fluid from the clutch and brake master cylinders and a lot of the floor was pretty much bare metal. Here are some pics.

Honest rig and ad. Good price for what comes with it. GLWS.

that's a great deal

I agree, great price on a nice rig. Looks like all OG patina for the most part and a good selection of OEM extras. GLWS!

This is the cleanest original paint survivor 40 I've seen in person. With a buff, I bet it would shine like new. Best of luck with the sale.
